Okay...I mailed out something for someone via Fedex, and they mistakenly put an item they didn't want in the bag of "send off items" to be put in the envelope. Not being a mindreader, how would I know? But now she's "freaking out." and of course, although she admits she made a mistake putting it there, she puts most of the blame on me, like I should have been a mindreader and known. Request is that she gets the item back, let's say for her sake, but also so it doesn't create this "awkward rift" when I have to deal with her, and she calms down so she doesn't call me several times a day, which drives me crazy. She has a history of doing things in a way that causes her problems, then expects others to "pick up the slack" for her bad judgement. But I don't have a screening process with my customers, so sometimes I get stuck with problematic people. That this latest, the mailing error, be straightened out...
