Let us always rest in your promises Lord

We join you wholeheartedly in this humble prayer and we say amen with you, for it is good and right to rest in the promises of our faithful God.

We are encouraged by your desire to humble yourselves before the Lord, for He gives grace to the humble and He never fails to keep His word. His promises are not like the words of men which may fail, but they are sure and steadfast because He who promised is faithful. We are reminded in Numbers 23:19 that God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good? And in 2 Corinthians 1:20 we read, For however many are the promises of God, in him is the Yes. Therefore also through him is the Amen, to the glory of God through us. Every promise finds its fulfillment in Jesus.

When we rest in His promises we find peace in every season, in trial and in joy, because we know He is with us and will sustain us. As He says in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And we are called to hold tightly to that hope as it says in Hebrews 10:23, let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.

We pray together now for you and with you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we humble ourselves before You. Thank You for Your unfailing love and for the precious promises You have given us in Your Word. Forgive us when we lean on our own understanding or when we are anxious and forget Your faithfulness. Help us to daily rest in Your promises, to trust Your character, and to remember that Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom and You are faithful in all Your words as it says in Psalm 145:13. Teach us to meditate on Your Word day and night, to pray without ceasing, and to cast all our cares upon You knowing You care for us. Strengthen our faith when we waver and fill our hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let us walk in obedience and in confidence that You will never leave us nor forsake us. We ask this in the mighty and almighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to abide in His Word, for His promises are revealed there, and to bring every care to Him in prayer. As you rest in Him, He will give you rest for your souls and establish your steps.

Thank you for sharing this humble prayer. We join you in it and we hear the longing in it, not just to know God's promises but to truly rest in them.

That word rest stood out to us. It is one thing to agree that God is faithful, and another to let our hearts settle there when life feels hurried or uncertain. Rest often grows quietly as we come to know the One who makes the promises more deeply, His steadiness, His kindness, His desire to communicate with us and draw near.

We find that trust builds in ordinary ways, through hearing His word, remembering how He has carried us in the past, and turning to Him again in prayer even when we still feel shaky. It is not about forcing ourselves to feel calm, but about gently returning to what is true about Him.

One simple practice that has helped many is to keep a single promise that has been meaningful close at hand for a week, reading it slowly in the morning and returning to it when worry rises, letting it shape your prayer that day rather than trying to hold everything at once.

Father, we humble ourselves before You with this dear one who prayed. Teach us all to rest more deeply in Your promises, to know Your faithfulness more clearly, and to walk in quiet confidence in Jesus. Give peace for today and wisdom for whatever lies ahead, in Jesus' name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer breathes that true humility which the Lord loves to honor, for before honor is humility, and it is the lowly heart that He lifts up. To humble yourselves before the Father and to ask that you may rest in His promises is to ask for that which He delights to give.

The wealth of God's people seldom lies in ready money, their treasure consists mostly in promises to pay, promises which God has made to His own people in Christ Jesus. Some of His promises are like checks, you have but to present them at the counter by faith and the mercy is given. It is a blessed thing to put your ear down to the promises of Scripture till you hear God speaking through them to your soul, not as mere words on a page, but as His own voice to you in Christ.

He who trusts in the Lord, happy is he. You need not wait until you feel this or that, for to say Lord I cannot trust You unless I feel something is to make a god out of your feelings. Simply trust Him, alone, without signs or evidences, and you have within you a power which will carry you through life. We trust not in a dead notion, but in the living God who made heaven and earth and who supports all things by His mighty arm, the God who lives and reigns through all eternity.

May the Lord grant you grace to serve Him with all humility of mind, humility before the act, during it, and when all is done, and to stay your souls entirely upon Him in all prudence and uprightness. May you be kept looking unto Jesus, your Husband and Redeemer, in whom every promise is yea and amen, and find in Him daily peace, support under trouble and deliverance out of it.

I join my prayer with yours, that the Lord would keep you abiding in Christ, believing His Word, and resting wholly upon His faithful promises, till faith is matured into full assurance and you obtain the promises to His glory. In the name of Jesus Christ our only Savior, Amen.

We have heard your humble prayer and we join you in it, asking the Lord to help you rest firmly in His promises.

It is good that you come humbly before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for all the promises of God find their yes and amen in Him. The Scripture says God cannot lie and He promised eternal life before the world began, and in due time He made His word known. To rest in His promises is to glorify Him, for it shows that you hold a true and high thought of His majesty and His boundless power, and are fully persuaded that what He has promised He is able also to perform.

Remember how God deals with us. He does not always bring what He has promised immediately, but often after a long time. This is to show His power and to lead us to faith, so that we learn patient endurance. Abraham waited long and patiently endured, and so obtained the promise. Others died in faith not yet having obtained all that was promised, yet they did not draw back, because their faith was clearer and stronger than any human reasoning and it kept them steady.

So we pray for you that God will strengthen your faith, that you will not be of little faith but will be fully persuaded. May He keep you from curious doubts and from a weak and faint heart, and teach you to glorify Him by trusting His word both for today and for what is to come. May He help you to walk faithfully, for He promises good to those who continue with Him, and to rest not in your own strength but in His faithfulness.

We ask the Father to keep you in peace, to establish your heart in Christ, and to cause you to experience the comfort of His promises each day until you see their fulfillment. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.
