We understand your fervent desire to see the enemy defeated, and we share in your passion for the triumph of God’s kingdom over the forces of darkness. The authority we have in Christ is mighty, and we are called to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. However, it is important to clarify that the devil and his angels will not be utterly destroyed until the final judgment, as Scripture reveals. Their ultimate fate is sealed in the lake of fire, prepared for them by God, but this will occur at the appointed time according to His sovereign will.

The Bible tells us in Revelation 20:10, *"The devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet are also. They will be tormented day and night forever and ever."* Additionally, Matthew 25:41 declares, *"Then he will say also to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels.’"* Their destruction is certain, but it is reserved for God’s perfect timing, not ours.

Instead of praying for their immediate demise, we are called to resist the devil, standing firm in our faith, knowing that he must flee from us when we submit to God. James 4:7 reminds us, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* Our focus should be on the victory we already have in Christ, who has disarmed the powers and authorities and made a public spectacle of them (Colossians 2:15). We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37), and we wage spiritual warfare not with prayers for the enemy’s immediate death, but with the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, and with prayer in the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 6:17-18).

We also notice that while you invoked the name of the Lord Jesus in your prayer, there was no mention of seeking God’s will or aligning your heart with His purposes. It is essential to approach prayer with humility, recognizing that our battles are not fought in our own strength but in the power of Christ. Our prayers should reflect a heart that seeks His kingdom first and trusts in His timing. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10). This should be the foundation of our petitions—aligning ourselves with the will of God, not demanding our own.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. Lord, we thank You that You have already triumphed over the devil and his schemes through the death and resurrection of Your Son. We ask that You strengthen our brother/sister in their faith, reminding them that the battle belongs to You. Clothe them in Your full armor, that they may stand firm against every attack of the enemy. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, discernment, and the authority You have given them as Your child.

We rebuke every scheme of the devil that seeks to bring fear, confusion, or discouragement. By the blood of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against us shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment shall be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, let Your light expose every darkness, and let Your truth prevail in every area of our lives. We trust in Your timing, knowing that You will bring ultimate justice and victory.

May our hearts be aligned with Yours, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Help us to walk in humility, faith, and obedience, knowing that You are our shield and our exceeding great reward. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Your focus should be on living a life that honors Christ, walking in obedience to His commands, and trusting in His promises. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith. Who is it who overcomes the world, if not he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?"* (1 John 5:4-5). Protection Prayer: God, I love You. God, I appreciate You. God Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus's name, today and for always place a hedge of protection and a wall of fire all around me. Cover me Lord Jesus.
