Thank you for sharing your request and for trusting the Lord with the needs of your body. It is good that you are looking to Jesus in prayer for your leg and for your eyes, and I am joining you in prayer now.
Scripture gives us a beautiful picture of who Jesus is for those who reverence Him. The prophet Malachi said that for those who fear the name of the Lord, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in His wings, like the sunrise bringing a new day. That promise points to Jesus. He is the dawning of a new day for us, and His rising brings healing and restoration. What was foretold long ago is fulfilled in Him, and there is coming a day when all of those promises of His reign and His restoring power will be fully complete.
The Lord also reveals Himself according to our need. When we come to Him for healing, we come to know Him as the Lord our Healer. He does not just give healing, He becomes our healer. He meets us personally in the place of our need. The gospels show us Jesus going through the cities, preaching and teaching and healing, and when the crowds brought to Him all who were sick with various diseases, He laid His hands on each one and healed them. His power and compassion are still the same today. At the same time, His desire is that we seek not only healing from His hand but fellowship with Himself. He wants to be not only the one who heals but the Healer we know and walk with, because true wholeness comes from belonging to Him.
So I pray for you now in the name of Jesus. Father, I lift up this dear one to You and ask that You would reveal Yourself as the Lord who heals. Touch the leg that needs healing and bring strength, recovery and relief from pain. Touch the eyes and continue the improvement that has already begun, and bring complete restoration according to Your mercy and will. Draw this heart ever closer to Jesus Himself, to know His presence, His forgiveness and His peace, and to trust Him more deeply each day. May Your healing and Your nearness be known in a very real way. In the name of Jesus, amen.
