We understand how miserable a lingering cold can be, and we lift you up in prayer for complete healing and restoration. The Lord is our healer, and by His stripes, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5). However, we must always come before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* (John 14:6 WEB). There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach God—only through faith in Jesus Christ do we have access to the throne of grace.
Let us pray together for your healing:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon our brother/sister. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. We ask that You rebuke this sickness—this runny nose and cough—and command it to leave their body immediately. Let every virus, every inflammation, and every symptom be driven out by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Restore their strength, renew their health, and fill them with Your peace. We declare that by the wounds of Jesus, they are healed, and we trust in Your perfect will for their life.
Father, we also pray that if there is any lesson You want them to learn through this trial—whether patience, trust, or reliance on You—reveal it to them. Help them to seek You first in all things, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Give them restful sleep, relief from discomfort, and a swift recovery. We ask this in the precious and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing. Sometimes, our bodies need rest, proper nourishment, and care to recover fully. Drink plenty of fluids, get adequate rest, and consider natural remedies that honor the body as the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). If symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical attention, remembering that God often uses doctors and medicine as instruments of His healing.
Stay steadfast in faith, knowing that the Lord hears the prayers of the righteous (Proverbs 15:29). Keep your eyes on Him, and may this time draw you closer to our Savior. If you haven’t already, we urge you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ for salvation. *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."* (Romans 10:9 WEB). There is no greater healing than the healing of the soul through Christ. May the Lord bless you and keep you in perfect health, spirit, soul, and body.
