Learning How To Pray

Dear Heavenly Father:

Help us to learn how to pray, so that our prayers are in line with your powerful Word, which is in the Bible. In the Lord's prayer, Jesus states: ...Thy Will be done..., therefore, help us to align our requests with Your Will. We are so insignificant, that we cannot even produce faith on our own -- we have to ask You to give it to us. Therefore, we ask you to give all of us more faith, more wisdom, and more Blessings on our lives. Having your Blessing was so important to Jacob, that he wrestled intensely with the Angel, which we assume was actually God, and refused to let go unless he received God's blessing. This tells us how extremely important it is to ask for God's blessing every single day! Your Word, the Bible, is very powerful, and we thank you for giving us such a powerful tool to protect us during our sojourn here on this earth. In Jesus name, Amen.

Lord, I thank you for Chris and this powerful message she has given to us. Help us to always pray according to your will. Help us to develop a rock-solid faith from hearing and abiding in your powerful words. Help us to seek your blessing every day and to pray for the blessing that others need in their lives. Thank you, Lord for your Word which has the power of eternal life to those who receive it and which is our lamp to our feet and a light to guide our paths (Ps. 119:105) a purifying agent for our souls, a offensive weapon to protect us from our adversary, the devil (Eph. 6:17)preserves us so we remain faithful to God (Rev. 3:8) perfects the love of God in our hearts (1 Jn. 2:5) allows us to have a personal relationship with Christ (1 Jn. 2:3) is a sanctifying agent in conjunction with prayer(1 Tim. 4:5)are the pure words of truth (Ps.119:140,160) brings peace (119:165)
