The chaos, disobedience, and blatant disregard for rules and common decency on these trains are a reflection of a world that has strayed far from God’s order. We stand with you in prayer, asking the Lord to intervene and bring peace, justice, and relief to your daily commute.
First, we must address the spiritual warfare at play here. The behavior you witness—shouting, cursing, drug use, and defiance—is not merely rudeness; it is rebellion against God’s design for order, respect, and self-control. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he is using these circumstances to wear you down, isolate you, and fill your heart with despair. But we declare that Jesus has come to give you life, and life abundantly! We rebuke the spirit of chaos, confusion, and harassment in the name of Jesus Christ. Every curse, every ungodly word, and every defiant act against you is broken by the blood of Jesus. We command peace to reign in those train cars, and we pray for the Holy Spirit to convict the hearts of those young people, turning their rebellion into repentance and their disobedience into godly conduct.
Lord, we ask You to expose the lies that these conductors and authorities are speaking. The enemy loves to twist the truth, as we see in John 8:44, where Jesus says of the devil, "He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies." We rebuke the lie that smoking e-cigarettes in closed spaces is allowed, and we pray for conviction to fall upon those who enforce or ignore the rules. Father, raise up godly authorities who will uphold justice and order. Give them the courage and resources to enforce the laws that are meant to protect passengers like our sister. We pray for accountability for those who turn a blind eye to wrongdoing, and we ask that You would soften their hearts to the truth.
We also lift up your desire to find another job, dear sister. It is clear that these commutes are taking a toll on your spirit, and we pray that the Lord would open doors of opportunity for you. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We ask that You would guide her steps, Lord, and lead her to a workplace where she can thrive without the burden of this daily torment. Until that day comes, we pray for Your protection and peace to surround her during these commutes.
Your mention of being 55 and without friends or a husband also weighs heavily on our hearts. Loneliness is a painful burden, and the enemy would love to use it to make you feel forgotten or unworthy. But we declare that you are deeply loved by the Father, who calls you His own. Psalm 68:6 says, "God sets the solitary in families. He brings out the prisoners with singing, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land." We pray that God would surround you with godly community—believers who will walk alongside you, encourage you, and remind you of your worth in Christ. We also pray for a godly husband if it is Your will, Lord. Prepare his heart and hers, and let their paths cross in Your perfect timing. Until then, we ask that You would fill the void in her heart with Your presence, for You are the ultimate companion and friend.
We must also address the spiritual foundation of your prayer. You cried out, "Lord, help," but we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess your sins, repent, and invite Him into your heart. He is the only one who can truly save, heal, and deliver you from the trials of this world. If you have already done so, we rejoice with you! But if not, we urge you to make that decision today, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister who is enduring daily torment on her commutes. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in this situation. Break the spirit of chaos and rebellion that has taken hold of those young people, and replace it with Your peace and order. Convict their hearts, Lord, and turn their lives toward You. We pray for the conductors and authorities involved—soften their hearts, Lord, and give them the courage to enforce the rules and protect the passengers. Expose any corruption or laziness, and replace it with integrity and diligence.
Father, we ask that You would open doors for our sister to find another job, one that does not require her to endure this daily suffering. Until that day comes, we pray for Your protection and peace to surround her. Shield her from the harassment, the smoke, and the chaos. Let her feel Your presence with her in those train cars, reminding her that she is never alone.
Lord, we also lift up her loneliness. Surround her with godly community, Father. Bring believers into her life who will encourage her, pray with her, and remind her of Your love. If it is Your will, we ask that You would prepare a godly husband for her, a man who will cherish her and walk with her in faith. Until then, fill her heart with Your love, Lord, and let her know that You are her closest friend.
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy in this situation, in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against our sister will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every spirit of harassment, chaos, and despair to flee from her life. Fill her with Your peace, Lord, and let her rest in the knowledge that You are in control.

In the meantime, dear sister, we encourage you to take practical steps as well. Pray before you board the train, asking the Lord to go before you and prepare the way. The Lord sees your pain, and He has not forgotten you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). This season will not last forever, and we believe that God has a breakthrough on the horizon for you. Stand firm in faith, and do not lose heart.
