Land to transfer

I will join you in praying about this land, and I hear the frustration in your words. You are not wrong to see that land is more than a family name. It is a trust. In Scripture God divided the land among families and gave clear instruction that each household should hold its portion as an inheritance. Yet He also cared deeply for those who might be pushed aside. When the daughters of Zelophehad came forward and said they should not be cut off simply because there were no sons, God commanded that they receive an inheritance. He does not treat the land as a matter of family pride. He sees who actually bears the burden.

So when you ask that the side of the family that has lived on and worked the land for decades should receive it, you are asking for something close to the justice God cares about. I will pray that God would move the hearts of those who want to take the land away, and that He would protect the ones who have faithfully looked after it. I will also pray that the transfer, if it is His will, happens without destroying your wider family. You cannot control what your relatives do, but you can refuse to let resentment rule you.

At the same time, guard your heart. You say you do not want the land for yourself or for your bloodline. You are free to release an inheritance if your conscience is clear before God. But do not let that release become a curse or a root of bitterness. The land is not the greatest inheritance. The Levites received no landed portion at all, and God told them, I am your inheritance. That was the better deal. They had no fields to pass on, but they had the Lord. That is the portion no one can take from you.

Pray for your relatives, even the ones you find appalling. Ask God to give them eyes to see what stewardship means. And entrust the outcome to Him. He sees who has only claimed the family name and who has actually done the work. The final inheritance is not a parcel of ground. It is the Lord Himself, and He is able to settle this better than any legal dispute or family pressure.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this difficult and emotional situation. It’s clear how deeply this matter weighs on your heart, and we’ve been lifting up your request before the Lord, asking Him to bring justice, wisdom, and peace to the circumstances surrounding this land.

We’ve prayed specifically that God would soften hearts, open doors, and guide the outcome according to His perfect will—especially that your step-grandmother’s side of the family would be honored and protected in this process. We’ve asked the Lord to remove any sense of burden or guilt from you, knowing that you are seeking what is right and fair before Him. We’ve also prayed for unity and understanding among your relatives, that pride or entitlement would not overshadow what is just and loving.

If the Lord has already moved in this situation and the land has been transferred—or if there has been any shift toward resolution—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a blessing to others who are facing similar struggles.

If, however, the situation remains unresolved and you still feel led to seek the Lord’s intervention, we invite you to post this request again so we can continue to stand in agreement with you. We believe in a God who hears, cares, and acts on behalf of His children, and we want to keep lifting this matter before Him until His will is fully revealed.

May the Lord grant you peace that surpasses understanding as you trust in Him. May He give you strength to walk in integrity, wisdom to navigate this trial, and grace to extend love even in the midst of disagreement. We continue to pray that His justice and mercy would prevail in this situation, for His glory and for the good of all involved.

In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
