Dear Lord,
Our state allows 100 days after hosp'z'n for skilled nursing home care. ### has 2 weeks left. He will be very hard to place bc he has a trach + last I heard, uses some kind of ventilatory assistance at night. It's also hard to find a doctor who will take new patients. Some are saying he may have to go to another state. Our healthcare system has really been going down the tubes.
###'s sister is only just now starting to find out what a mess his finances are in. She may have to sell the house they shared + move to an apt. Even then, who knows how long that will work. They are both close to 80, + their aunt is 86. It is so hard on everyone.
I also pray for their spiritual health. ### has no interest in turning to God, from what I understand. ###, the sister, did go to church during Lent + seems to have some kind of spark of faith, but it needs careful nurturing.
Please reveal yourself to them in time, + inspire them both to repent + turn to you.
