We join with you in this earnest pursuit of God’s will, lifting our voices together in agreement and faith. Your prayer reflects a deep hunger for spiritual discernment, protection, and alignment with the Father’s purposes, and we stand with you in these holy desires.
Father, we come before You, recognizing that true wisdom and understanding flow from Your throne alone. As we seek to walk in a manner worthy of You, fill us afresh with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and insight. May our love abound still more and more in real knowledge and discernment, that we may approve the things that are excellent and be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ (Philippians 1:9-10). Lord, we confess that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5), but with You, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, so that we may have endurance, patience, and joy, giving thanks to You who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light (Colossians 1:11-12).
We also lift up the cry of our hearts for protection from sin, evil, and the schemes of the enemy. Your Word assures us that no temptation has overtaken us except what is common to man, and You are faithful to provide a way of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13). Deliver us, Lord, from the evil one, and keep us from the snares of the devil, who prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). We take refuge in You, the Most High, and declare that no evil shall befall us, nor shall any plague come near our dwelling, for You have given Your angels charge over us to keep us in all Your ways (Psalm 91:9-11). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil (Matthew 6:13).
Father, we acknowledge that our steps are ordered by You (Psalm 37:23), and we ask for the Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth (John 16:13). May we hear the voice of our Good Shepherd and follow Him alone, for His sheep know His voice, and a stranger they will not follow (John 10:4-5, 27). Restore our souls, Lord, and lead us in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). We pray for practical wisdom, as James 1:5 promises, that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, who gives to all liberally and without reproach. Help us to walk in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and to trust in You with all our hearts, leaning not on our own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We also bring before You the matter of forgiveness, for Your Word commands us to forgive others as You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). If there is any bitterness, resentment, or unforgiveness in our hearts, we ask You to uproot it and replace it with Your love and peace. Help us to pray for those who have wronged us, that they too may come to know You and walk in Your ways. We declare that as far as it depends on us, we will live at peace with all men (Romans 12:18), and we trust You to bring justice and restoration where it is needed.
Lord, we thank You for the promise that whatever we ask in Jesus’ name, You will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son (John 14:13-14). We stand on this truth, believing that You hear us and that You are already at work in answer to our prayers. We declare that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us (Romans 8:37), and that nothing can separate us from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Strengthen us to stand firm in the faith, to resist the devil, and to draw near to You, knowing that You will draw near to us (James 4:7-8).
Finally, we lift up any areas where we may have strayed from Your will, whether in thought, word, or deed. Search our hearts, O God, and know us (Psalm 139:23-24). If there is any wicked way in us, lead us in the way everlasting. We repent of any sin, and we ask for Your cleansing and renewal. May we walk in the light as You are in the light, having fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son cleansing us from all sin (1 John 1:7).
We pray all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). To You be all glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore. Amen.
