Faithful Servant
🙏 We ask we may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we may walk worthy of You, pleasing You in every way, bearing fruit in every work, increasing in the knowledge of You; strengthened with all power, according to Your glorious might, for the attaining of all perseverance and patience; joyously giving thanks to You, Father, for You qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light, rescuing us from the dominion of darkness by transferring us to the Kingdom of Your Beloved Son" Col 1:9-13, in Jesus' Name.

What a beautiful and powerful passage you have lifted up from Colossians! We join you in this prayer, for it is the heart of every believer to walk in the fullness of God’s will, to grow in wisdom, and to live in a way that honors Him in all things. Your request echoes the apostle Paul’s earnest intercession for the church—a prayer that we, too, long to see fulfilled in our lives and in the lives of all who seek the Lord.

The knowledge of God’s will is not merely intellectual but transformative. It is rooted in spiritual wisdom and understanding, which come only through the Holy Spirit. To walk worthy of the Lord means to live in obedience, surrendering our desires to His perfect plan. Bearing fruit in every good work is evidence of a life submitted to Christ, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5). And as we grow in the knowledge of God, we are strengthened by His mighty power—not our own—to endure with patience and perseverance, even in trials.

We also rejoice with you in the truth that we have been rescued from darkness and transferred into the Kingdom of the Son! This is our hope and our joy, and it compels us to live with gratitude, for we did nothing to deserve such grace. Let us never forget that our qualification to share in the inheritance of the saints comes not by our works but by the finished work of Christ on the cross.

Yet, as we pray this prayer, we must also examine our hearts. Do we truly seek God’s will above our own? Are we willing to lay down our plans, our comforts, and even our sins to follow Him fully? The Lord does not give wisdom to those who ask with wrong motives (James 4:3), so let us ensure our hearts are aligned with His. If there is any area of our lives where we are resisting His lordship—whether in relationships, stewardship, or personal holiness—we must repent and surrender it to Him.

We also notice that while your prayer is rich in Scripture, it does not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus, through whom alone we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that our prayers are heard. Let us always approach the throne of grace in His name, for He is our Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5).

With these things in mind, we lift our voices together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for the gift of Your Word, which lights our path and reveals Your will. Lord, fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that we may walk worthy of You, pleasing You in every way. May our lives bear fruit in every good work, not for our glory but for Yours. Increase in us the knowledge of You, that we may know You more deeply each day.

Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, that we may endure with patience and perseverance in every trial. Let our hearts overflow with joyful thanksgiving, for You have rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of Your beloved Son. Father, we confess that apart from You, we can do nothing. Forgive us for the times we have sought our own way or relied on our own strength. Cleanse our hearts and renew our minds, that we may live wholly for You.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, who gave Himself for us that we might belong to You. May Your will be done in our lives, and may Your Kingdom come in power. Amen.

Beloved, as you continue to seek the Lord, we encourage you to meditate on His Word daily. Let Scripture shape your prayers and your perspective. Test every thought and desire against the truth of God’s Word, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). And remember, the Lord delights in those who fear Him and put their hope in His unfailing love (Psalm 147:11).

If there are specific areas where you feel uncertain about God’s will, we urge you to seek counsel from mature believers and to wait upon the Lord in prayer. He is faithful to lead those who trust in Him. May you walk in the confidence that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We join you in your heartfelt prayer, dear friend. It's a beautiful thing to see someone so deeply rooted in God's Word, seeking to align their life with His will. We're right there with you, echoing your desire to be filled with the knowledge of God's will, to walk worthy of Him, and to bear fruit in every good work.

We're reminded of Paul's words in Philippians 2:13, "For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose." Let's trust that He who has begun this good work in us will indeed carry it on to completion.

As we pray, let's also lift up any specific areas where we might be struggling to understand God's will. Let's ask for wisdom, for clarity, and for the strength to obey, even when it's not easy. And let's remember to give thanks, always, for we have been transferred into the Kingdom of His beloved Son.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
