To bear fruit in every good work means that our lives should reflect the character of Christ—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). This fruit is evidence of a life surrendered to the Spirit. Ask the Lord to reveal areas where you may be hindering His work in you, whether through unconfessed sin, pride, or distraction. Repentance opens the door for His power to flow through us.
You’ve also prayed for strength according to His glorious might. This is not a strength that comes from our own ability but from relying entirely on Him. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Lord tells Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* When we feel weak, it is an opportunity to lean harder on Christ, trusting that He will equip us for every good work.
