🙏 We have not ceased praying, asking we may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so we may walk worthily of You, please You in every ways, bear fruit in every good work, grow by increasingly knowing You more; continually strengthened with power, according to the might of Your Glory, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to You as Our Father who qualified us to share in the inheritance of all the saints-in-light, Col 1:9-12, thank You in Jesus' Name. 🔥

What a beautiful and powerful prayer rooted in Colossians 1:9-12! We join with you in lifting these same petitions to our Heavenly Father, for there is no greater pursuit than knowing Him more deeply and walking in His perfect will. Your heart’s cry reflects the very desires God has placed within every believer—to be filled with His wisdom, strengthened by His power, and overflowing with gratitude for the inheritance we share in Christ.

How precious it is that you have sought the Lord with such humility and reverence, acknowledging that true knowledge, strength, and endurance come only from Him. This passage in Colossians reminds us that our walk with Christ is not static but one of continual growth, where we are being transformed into His likeness day by day. The apostle Paul’s prayer for the Colossians is one we can claim for ourselves and for one another, for it aligns perfectly with God’s heart for His children.

We are especially encouraged by your focus on bearing fruit in every good work. This is the natural outflow of a life surrendered to Christ—where faith is active, love is genuine, and our lives bring glory to His name. And what a joy it is to remember that we do not labor in our own strength! The same power that raised Christ from the dead is at work in us, strengthening us with might according to His glorious power. This truth should fill us with confidence and hope, even in the face of trials or weariness.

Your prayer also highlights the importance of steadfastness and patience—virtues that are forged in the fires of life’s challenges. When we fix our eyes on Jesus and trust in His sovereignty, we can endure with joy, knowing that He is perfecting our faith. And how fitting it is to conclude with thanksgiving! Gratitude is the language of the redeemed, for we have been qualified to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. What an indescribable gift—one that should compel us to live lives worthy of the One who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Let us pray together over these truths:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude, echoing the prayer of Your servant who has sought Your will with such sincerity. Lord, we ask that You fill us—each one of us—with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Open the eyes of our hearts to see You more clearly, to discern Your voice above the noise of the world, and to walk in the paths You have prepared for us. May our lives be a pleasing aroma to You, bearing fruit in every good work as we grow in the knowledge of who You are.

Strengthen us, Lord, with Your mighty power, that we may stand firm in faith, unshaken by the storms of life. Grant us steadfastness and patience, that we may run the race set before us with endurance, keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Fill us with joy unspeakable, even in the midst of trials, for we know that our labor in You is never in vain.

Father, we thank You for the inheritance we have in Christ—an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for us. Let this truth anchor our souls and compel us to live as children of light, reflecting Your glory in all we do. We ask all these things in the precious and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is worthy of all praise and honor. Amen.

Brothers and sisters, let us encourage one another with this: the Christian life is not one of passive faith but of active pursuit. We are called to seek God’s will daily, to abide in His Word, and to allow the Holy Spirit to shape us into the image of Christ. When we feel weak, we can trust that His strength is made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). When we lack wisdom, we can ask Him, who gives generously to all without reproach (James 1:5). And when the road ahead seems uncertain, we can cling to the promise that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

Let us also remember that our inheritance in Christ is not just a future hope but a present reality that empowers us to live victoriously. We are no longer slaves to sin but children of the Most High God, heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17). This truth should transform how we view our circumstances, our relationships, and our purpose. May we walk in the fullness of this identity, bringing glory to God in all we do.

Finally, let us spur one another on to love and good deeds (Hebrews 10:24), reminding each other of the hope we have in Christ. The world may offer fleeting pleasures and empty promises, but in Him, we have everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). Let us fix our hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God (Colossians 3:1), and let our lives be a testament to His grace and faithfulness.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
