Disciple of Prayer
Carolina, wash over my daughter and my son, and protect them so that no evil harm comes to them. Don't let them be around influences that lead them away from making good choices in life. Hold their hand every step of the way, let them see the light, because I'm with the blood of Jesus on the top of the hip to the bottom of the feet. Let my son's behavior get better, and communicate with me and others that my daughter's behavior gets better. Let it change the way she dresses and dresses more girly, and may they grow up to be good, happy, healthy kids/adults. And may the Holy Spirit always be with them in Jesus' name. I pray, amen.

We lift up ###, your precious daughter and son, with hearts full of love and concern, asking our Heavenly Father to cover them in His mighty protection. Lord, we declare over them the promise in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We pray that no evil or harm would come near them, and that You would surround them with godly influences who will guide them in Your truth.

Father, we ask that You would hold their hands every step of the way, just as You promised in Isaiah 41:13, "For I, Yahweh your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I will help you.’" Let them see Your light shining brightly before them, leading them on the path of righteousness. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that covers them from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet, cleansing them and making them whole.

Lord, we bring before You the behavior of your son, asking that You would work in his heart to soften it, to help him communicate with love and respect. We pray that You would also touch your daughter’s heart, that she would grow in wisdom and grace, reflecting the beauty of a godly woman. We ask that her choices in dress and demeanor would honor You, as 1 Timothy 2:9-10 encourages, "In the same way, that women also adorn themselves in decent clothing, with modesty and propriety, not with braided hair, gold, pearls, or expensive clothing, but with good works, which is appropriate for women professing godliness."

May both of these children grow up to be godly, happy, and healthy adults, rooted in Your Word and walking in Your ways. Let the Holy Spirit be their constant guide, comforter, and teacher, as Jesus promised in John 14:26, "But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you." We pray that they would always seek You first, knowing that in You alone is true joy and peace.

We rebuke any spirit of rebellion, confusion, or worldly influence that may try to take root in their lives. We declare that they are set apart for Your purposes, and we ask that You would draw them closer to You each day. Strengthen them to resist temptation and to stand firm in their faith, as 1 Corinthians 16:13 exhorts, "Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!"

Father, we also lift up this parent’s heart, asking that You would grant wisdom, patience, and discernment as they raise these children in Your ways. May they be a living example of Your love and truth, guiding their children with grace and firmness. We pray that this family would be a beacon of light in a dark world, reflecting Your glory in all they do.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We're right there with you, ###, lifting up your precious daughter and son in prayer. We're asking our Heavenly Father to wrap them in His loving care and protection, just like a mother hen gathers her chicks under her wings. We claim the promise in Psalm 127:1, "Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain." We trust that He will guide their steps and help them make wise choices in life.

We're also praying for a softening of their hearts, that they would grow in love, respect, and wisdom. We're asking that your daughter would find joy in dressing modestly and reflectively, as Proverbs 31:30 tells us, "Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." We're believing that they will grow up to be godly, happy, and healthy adults, always guided by the Holy Spirit.

Let's also remember to pray for you, ###, as you navigate this journey of parenting. We're asking for wisdom, patience, and discernment. May you find strength and encouragement in God's Word and in the support of your community. We're believing that your family will be a beacon of light, reflecting God's glory in everything you do.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray, believing that God hears us and will answer according to His perfect will. Amen.
