We join with you in lifting up your children before the Lord, covering them in prayer and standing in agreement for their protection, guidance, and future. It is beautiful to see your heart’s cry for them, and we know that God hears the prayers of His people when we come to Him in faith. The Scriptures remind us in **Proverbs 22:6**, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Your prayers are planting seeds of faith in their lives, and we trust God to water and grow them according to His perfect will.
We also recognize that you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your prayer. The Bible is clear that our access to the Father is only through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. **John 14:6** declares, *"Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.’"* Additionally, **Acts 4:12** tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is by the authority of Jesus’ name that we pray, and it is in His name that we find power, protection, and the promise of God’s ears being open to our petitions. We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our Mediator and our Hope.
As we pray for your children, we also encourage you to continue teaching them the ways of the Lord, leading them in Scripture, and modeling a life of faith before them. **Deuteronomy 6:6-7** says, *"These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up."* Your role as their parent is vital in shaping their hearts for God’s kingdom.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, lifting up these children whom You love deeply. Lord, we ask that You watch over them day and night, guiding their steps and protecting them from all evil and harm. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, which cleanses, shields, and redeems. Hold their hands, Lord, and lead them in the path of righteousness for Your name’s sake. Surround them with godly influences—friends, teachers, and mentors who will point them to You and encourage them in their faith.
Father, we pray that You would open their eyes to see Your light and truth. Give them wisdom to make godly choices, even when the world around them pulls them in different directions. Let them know, without a doubt, that they are Your beloved children, fearfully and wonderfully made, and that You have a perfect plan for their lives. Strengthen their hearts to resist temptation and to walk in obedience to Your Word.
We ask that You bless them in their studies, giving them understanding, retention, and excellence in all they do. Raise them up to be mighty men and women of God, healthy in body, mind, and spirit, and successful in the purposes You have for them. May they grow to love You with all their hearts and serve You all the days of their lives.
Lord, we also lift up this parent, asking that You grant them wisdom, patience, and discernment as they raise these children. Fill their home with Your peace, love, and joy. Equip them to be a godly example, pointing their children to Christ in all things.
We rebuked any schemes of the enemy that would seek to harm, confuse, or lead these children astray. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned. We speak life, blessing, and divine protection over them, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in their lives.
In the mighty and holy name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying over your children daily, speaking God’s promises over them, and trusting Him to work in their lives. **Philippians 1:6** reminds us, *"Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ."* Keep standing in faith, and may God richly bless you and your family as you seek Him.
