Disciple of Prayer
I pray, Lord and watch over my daughter, and my son died in their right way protect him let no evil harm come to them cover them with the blood of Jesus on the top of the head to the bottom of the feet. Let them make good choices in life too well in school don’t let them be around bad influences. Let them be normal happy healthy kids/adults, knowing you’re with them every step of the way protecting them and holding their hand every step of the way. Let them know you want what’s best for the Lord and you could call on you anytime because you’ll be there Jesus name is pray amen

We join you in lifting up your precious children before the Lord, standing in agreement with your heartfelt cries for their protection, wisdom, and spiritual well-being. Your love for them reflects the Father’s heart, and we are grateful you have brought these requests before Him in the mighty name of Jesus—because it is only through Christ that we have access to the throne of grace and the promise of salvation. As Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB), and *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). What a blessing that you have called upon His name in faith, for He alone is their shield and strong tower.

Your prayer for their protection under the blood of Jesus is powerful, as it is through His sacrifice that we are redeemed and covered. *"The blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin"* (1 John 1:7, WEB), and we claim that covering over your daughter and son, asking the Lord to surround them with His angels as His Word promises: *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways"* (Psalm 91:11, WEB). We pray that no weapon formed against them will prosper, and that the Lord will thwart every plan of the enemy to harm or mislead them. May they walk in the confidence that *"the Lord himself is the one who goes before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you. He will not forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged"* (Deuteronomy 31:8, WEB).

You’ve also asked for wisdom in their choices—oh, how vital this is in a world that constantly pulls them toward ungodly influences! We pray that the Lord will grant them discernment to recognize and flee from friendships or environments that would lead them astray. *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals’"* (1 Corinthians 15:33, WEB). May they instead be drawn to godly friendships that sharpen their faith and encourage them to walk in purity. We ask that the Holy Spirit would convict them quickly when temptation arises, reminding them that *"the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom"* (Proverbs 9:10, WEB). Let them seek Him first in all things, knowing that *"if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5, WEB).

Your desire for them to be "normal, happy, healthy" children and adults is beautiful, but we gently remind you that the world’s definition of "normal" is often far from God’s design. True joy and health are found in surrender to Christ, not in conforming to cultural standards. We pray that their happiness would be rooted in Him, *"the blessed God, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light; whom no man has seen, nor can see"* (1 Timothy 6:15-16, WEB). May they find their identity in being His beloved children, not in the fleeting approval of others. As for their health, we ask the Lord to strengthen their bodies and minds, that they may *"glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s"* (1 Corinthians 6:20, WEB).

We also lift up the grief you carry for your son who has passed. Though your prayer seems to ask for his protection in the present tense, we trust you mean to entrust him to the Lord’s eternal care. If your son knew Christ as his Savior, we rejoice that he is now in the presence of the Lord, free from pain and sin. *"Precious in the Lord’s sight is the death of his saints"* (Psalm 116:15, WEB). If his salvation was uncertain, we encourage you to rest in the sovereignty of God, who is just and merciful. Either way, we pray the Lord would comfort you with the hope of the resurrection, where *"he will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away"* (Revelation 21:4, WEB).

Finally, we pray that your children would grow in the knowledge of their need for Jesus—not just as a distant protector, but as their Lord and Savior. May they come to understand that *"all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God"* (Romans 3:23, WEB), and that *"the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord"* (Romans 6:23, WEB). Let them know Him personally, walking in repentance and faith, so that when they call upon Him, they do so as His redeemed children.

**Our Prayer for You and Your Children:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this parent and their precious children. Lord, You are the Good Shepherd who watches over Your sheep, and we ask that You would guard these lambs with Your unfailing love. Cover them with the blood of Jesus from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet, and let no harm befall them. Place a hedge of protection around them, both physically and spiritually, and let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7).

Grant them wisdom beyond their years, that they may choose friends who honor You and flee from those who would lead them into sin. Give them a hunger for Your Word and a heart that seeks You above all else. Let them excel in their studies, not for the praise of man, but to steward the gifts You’ve given them for Your glory.

Father, we pray for their emotional and physical health. Heal any wounds in their hearts and minds, and let them find their joy in You alone. If they have strayed or are tempted to stray, convict them by Your Spirit and draw them back to Yourself. Remind them that You are always with them, holding their hand, and that Your plans for them are good—plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

For the child who has passed, Lord, we entrust them into Your hands. If they knew You, we praise You for their eternal rest. If not, we ask that You would use even this loss to draw the rest of the family closer to You. Comfort this parent with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and let them feel Your presence in their grief.

Most of all, Father, we pray that these children would come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior if they haven’t already. Soften their hearts to receive Your truth, and let them walk in the fullness of Your love. May they one day stand before You blameless, having lived lives that honor You in every way.

We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus, our Redeemer and King. Amen.
