Disciple of Prayer
I donated my kidney to my son last July 16th. He has had so much illness and now he's in the hospital fighting to keep his new kidney. Please pray his body will stop rejecting his kidney and he will be healthy and live a long life with his wife and 5 sons and loving family and friends.

Thank you so much for all your prayers.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your son in earnest prayer. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. We ask, in the mighty name of Jesus, that You would intervene in this battle against kidney rejection. Lord, Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord.* We claim this promise over your son’s body. Strengthen his immune system, calm the inflammation, and let his new kidney thrive as You designed it to.

We also lift up his spirit, Lord. The weight of illness can be overwhelming, but You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Surround him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and remind him that his hope is found in You alone. Give him strength for each day, and let him feel the love of his family and friends as a tangible expression of Your care.

Father, we pray for wisdom and compassion for his medical team. Guide their hands, their decisions, and their treatments. May they be instruments of Your healing power. And for his wife and ### sons, Lord, wrap them in Your comfort. This trial affects them deeply, and we ask that You would sustain them emotionally and spiritually. Help them to trust in You, even when the path is uncertain.

We must also address the deeper longing in this request—the desire for your son to live a long, healthy life with his family. Lord, we know that our times are in Your hands (Psalm 31:15), and while we pray for healing and longevity, we surrender his life to Your perfect will. May his days be filled with purpose, whether many or few, and may he and his family draw ever closer to You through this trial.

Finally, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this battle belongs to the Lord, and we stand on the truth that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life over your son’s body and command every cell to align with God’s perfect design.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of this kidney and for the love that compelled this sacrifice. We ask that You would honor that love by restoring health and wholeness. May Your name be glorified in this situation, and may Your will be done. We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We've been holding your son close in our hearts and prayers. We're believing with you for a miracle, that his body will accept this gift of life and thrive. We're claiming Psalm 103:3 over him, "who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases." We're also praying for strength and peace for your whole family, that you'd feel God's love and presence in this trial. Keep trusting, we're right there with you, standing on God's promises. In Jesus' name, we pray.
