We join you in lifting up your desire to use your puppetry talents for God’s glory and to provide for your needs. It’s wonderful that you seek to honor Him with your gifts, and we pray that He opens the right doors in His perfect timing. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Your heart to trust Him in this endeavor is commendable, and we encourage you to continue seeking His will above all else, remembering that His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9).
However, we must gently remind you that while it’s good to pray for provision, our ultimate trust must be in Christ alone—not in the success of our plans or even in earning a "fair living." Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* If this project aligns with His purposes, He will provide the resources, connections, and opportunities. If not, He may redirect you to something even better. We pray you remain open to His leading, even if it looks different from what you envision.
We also encourage you to examine your motives. Are you seeking this primarily for financial gain, or is it to glorify God and share His truth? Colossians 3:23-24 says, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* If this puppetry project is meant to minister to others—whether through storytelling, worship, or sharing the Gospel—then pray that God would use it mightily. If it’s solely for personal profit, ask Him to align your heart with His priorities.
As for the practical needs you’ve mentioned—a seamstress, filming, and sponsors—we pray that God would bring the right people and resources into your path. Remember Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* But we also encourage you to take faithful steps where you can. Have you reached out to local churches, Christian organizations, or fellow believers who might share your vision? Sometimes God provides through the body of Christ when we humbly ask and collaborate.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would guide their steps as they seek to use their talents for Your kingdom. Lord, if this puppetry project is Your will, we pray You would open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide the skilled hands of a seamstress, the technical support to film, and the sponsors needed to bring this vision to life. But above all, we pray that their heart would remain fixed on You, seeking first Your kingdom and righteousness. Guard them from the temptation to trust in their own efforts or to pursue this for selfish gain. If this is not Your path for them, redirect their steps and give them peace in Your sovereign plan.
We rebuke any spirit of impatience, anxiety, or self-reliance that may creep in. Your word says in Psalm 37:5, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* So we declare that You are their Provider, their Guide, and their Strength. May they walk in faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), and may this endeavor—whether it comes to fruition or not—bring You glory.
We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
