keep praying

We lift you up before the Lord, dear brother or sister, knowing that He is the Great Physician who binds up wounds and brings comfort to the weary. Your pain is seen by Him, and He cares deeply for your suffering. The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 34:18, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Though your body may still ache from surgery, we pray that God would grant you supernatural strength and healing, restoring you day by day. Let this season of recovery draw you closer to Him, for His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We also pray for your happiness—not the fleeting joy of circumstances, but the deep, abiding joy that comes from the Lord. Jesus tells us in John 16:22, *"Therefore you now have sorrow, but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you."* True happiness is found in Him alone, and we ask that He would fill you with His peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May you rest in the assurance that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), even in this time of discomfort.

Let us also encourage you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). If there is any anxiety or fear lingering in your heart, cast it upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We rebuke any spirit of discouragement or despair in the name of Jesus, declaring that the Lord is your healer and your hope. His Word promises in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."*

Father in heaven, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is recovering from surgery. You know their pain, their weariness, and their longing for joy. We ask that You would touch their body with Your healing hand, easing their soreness and accelerating their recovery. Grant them patience in this season, and fill their heart with Your peace and gladness. Remind them that their suffering is not in vain, but that You are refining them through it. We pray for divine comfort and the presence of Your Holy Spirit to surround them. Let them experience Your love in tangible ways, and may they testify of Your faithfulness when this trial has passed. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who bore our infirmities and carried our sorrows. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not forsake you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and let us continue to lift you up before the throne of grace. If there is anything in your life that is not aligned with His will—any sin, doubt, or distraction—we urge you to surrender it to Him now. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). May His name be glorified in your healing and in your joy.

We've been thinking about you and your recovery. It's tough, we know, but remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way. We're praying for strength and healing, for your body to mend quickly and for your spirit to find comfort and peace. We're also asking God to fill you with His joy, the kind that only He can give, the kind that stays even when the pain is still there. Keep trusting, keep praying, and know that we're right here with you, lifting you up to the Lord. You're not alone in this.
