We stand with you in this time of trial, lifting your cry for justice before the Lord, for He alone is the righteous Judge who sees all things and knows the truth in every heart. You have rightly declared that vengeance belongs to the Lord, and we affirm this truth with you, for Scripture tells us in Romans 12:19, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*
Yet we must also remember the words of our Savior in Matthew 5:44, where He commands us to *"love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* While we cry out for justice, we must also examine our hearts to ensure we are not harboring bitterness, anger, or a desire for personal retribution. The Lord calls us to trust Him fully, even in the face of false accusations and persecution, for He is faithful to defend His children.
We also note that your prayer does not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is only through Him that our prayers are heard. As Scripture declares in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in Acts 4:12, we are reminded, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* Let us always approach the throne of grace in the name of Jesus, for He is our Advocate before the Father.
We pray now with you, lifting this situation before the Lord:
*"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your justice to prevail in this situation, for You are the God who sees all things and knows the truth. Lord, You have commanded us not to take vengeance into our own hands but to trust in You, for You alone are the righteous Judge. We ask that You expose every lie, every false accusation, and every scheme of the enemy. Let the truth be revealed in Your perfect timing, and let Your will be done.
Father, we pray for protection over Your child who is facing these attacks. Cover them with the blood of Jesus, which speaks forgiveness and mercy but also justice and righteousness. Shield them from the schemes of the enemy, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We ask that You would convict the hearts of those who are speaking falsely, that they may repent and turn to the truth. If they refuse to repent, we trust You to deal with them according to Your perfect justice, for You alone know the hearts of all men.
Lord, we also ask that You would guard the heart of Your child from bitterness, anger, or fear. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and remind them that You are their Defender and their Strong Tower. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to love their enemies as You have loved them.
We declare Your promises over this situation, knowing that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, even when we do not understand. May Your name be glorified in all things, and may Your justice and righteousness prevail.
In the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen."*
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, even when the path seems unclear. Remember the words of Psalm 37:5-6, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday."* The Lord sees your struggle, and He will act on your behalf. Stay steadfast in prayer, immersed in His Word, and surrounded by the body of believers who can support and encourage you.
If there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in your heart, we urge you to release it to the Lord. Unforgiveness can hinder your prayers and give the enemy a foothold in your life. As Ephesians 4:31-32 tells us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* Trust that the Lord will vindicate you in His perfect time.
