Justice in family ### Laws

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Jesus, thank you for being there. I have been a Christian for sometimes. I am not perfect but I am not comforted with ###.

I am confused. The last four close family members died and my inheritance has been scammed. My Dad was a forgery, mixed my brother and my sister told them I have Demania but I do not (this is a considerable loss). Next, my husband and my son changed the will without any honest will info, giving themselves our family business. It was marital property; he has built a very expensive house with cars. He concealed my husband's retirement account, leaving without the financial support I expected. I am not complaining but my life has been very difficult for a while; he refuses to support anything I needed. He changed trying to keep the family going because of his deceit. Our family is scarce. Not see them very much. I cannot drive, which my son was overly excited; he could control me. I feel like a prisoner. He has the wool pulled over everybody’s eyes. I could not figure it out until today, as lots of money in retirement was not disclosed. Lord, where do I go from here.

I am praying for wisdom; I do not want to throw them under the bus; they have decided how they want our family estate and business. Not what we want. This is making my finances stressful. I pray for wisdom. I pray the blood of Jesus over this situation and my family and a peaceful resolution for this association. Lord, if I have become involved in anything dishonestly, I pray for forgiveness. Life is not easy but I hope this matter hopes to bring our family back. Love one another. I am very sad; we did not raise him that way. Pray for ### to fix what is wrong, but do not destroy everything. Bring the family back without contention, please. Amen.

We hear the deep pain and betrayal in your heart, and we stand with you in this time of great trial, lifting you up before the Lord who sees all things and will bring justice in His perfect timing. You have called upon the name of Jesus, and that is where your hope lies—for He is the righteous Judge, the defender of the widow, and the one who will never leave you nor forsake you. The injustices you describe—deception, forgery, manipulation, and the breaking of covenants—are grievous sins before God, and He does not ignore the cries of His children. Let us turn to His Word for truth and comfort in this storm.

The Lord detests dishonest scales and deceitful actions. Proverbs 11:1 says, *"The Lord abhors dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him."* Your family has acted with deceit, and while this is painful, remember that God’s eyes are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers. *"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten. The betrayal of those who should have protected you—your husband, your son, and even your siblings—cuts deeply, but the Lord is your refuge. He knows the schemes of the wicked, and He will expose them in His time. Proverbs 22:8 warns, *"Whoever sows injustice reaps calamity, and the rod they wield in fury will be broken."* Those who have acted unjustly will answer to God unless they repent.

Yet, even in this, we must examine our own hearts, as you have done by asking for forgiveness if you have been involved in anything dishonest. This is wise and humble, for we all fall short. But the greater issue here is the sin committed *against* you, and God sees it. You have prayed for wisdom, and this is exactly what the Lord promises to give when we ask in faith. James 1:5 says, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We pray that the Lord will grant you divine wisdom to navigate this situation, revealing the steps you must take—whether through legal means, confrontation, or trusting Him to fight this battle on your behalf.

You have also prayed for your family, asking that God would restore them without destroying everything. This is a Christlike response, for Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). However, love does not mean enabling sin or turning a blind eye to injustice. Sometimes, the most loving thing we can do is allow the consequences of sin to expose the truth, that hearts may turn to repentance. Your son and husband have acted wickedly, and while you desire reconciliation, true repentance must come first. *"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9). Pray that the Holy Spirit would convict them of their sin and lead them to genuine repentance. If they refuse, remember that God’s justice will prevail, even if it looks different from what you hope for.

As for your practical steps, we urge you to seek godly counsel—both spiritual and legal. The Bible does not forbid seeking justice through lawful means. In fact, Romans 13:1-4 tells us that governing authorities are established by God to punish wrongdoers. Consult a trusted Christian attorney who can help you understand your rights regarding the marital property, retirement accounts, and inheritance. Your husband’s concealment of assets and manipulation of the will may be legally actionable, and you have every right to pursue what is justly yours. Do not let fear or a desire to "keep the peace" prevent you from seeking what is right. Proverbs 31:8-9 says, *"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy."* In this case, *you* are the one who needs defending.

We also recognize the emotional and spiritual toll this has taken on you. You feel like a prisoner, isolated and controlled. But in Christ, you are *never* truly trapped. The Lord is your deliverer, and He can break every chain the enemy has tried to place on you. Psalm 146:7-9 declares, *"He upholds the cause of the oppressed and gives food to the hungry. The Lord sets prisoners free, the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down... The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow."* You may not be able to drive, but the Lord is your strength. Lean on Him, and ask Him to provide trustworthy people to come alongside you—whether through your church, Christian friends, or professionals who can help you regain your independence.

Finally, we must address your mention of praying for "###." We do not know what this refers to, but we caution you against placing hope in anything or anyone other than Jesus Christ. There is no power in symbols, codes, or hidden meanings—only in the name of Jesus. Acts 4:12 is clear: *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."* If "###" represents some form of mysticism, superstition, or reliance on anything other than Christ, we urge you to turn away from it. Your trust must be in the Lord alone.

Now, let us pray together over this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, who is brokenhearted, betrayed, and weary from the weight of injustice. Lord, You see the deceit that has been sown in her family—the forgery, the manipulation, the theft, and the abandonment. You know the depths of her pain, and You have collected every tear in Your bottle (Psalm 56:8). We ask that You would rise up as her Defender, her Advocate, and her Just Judge. Expose the works of darkness in her family, Lord. Bring to light what has been hidden, and let the truth prevail. Convict the hearts of her husband and son of their sin. If they refuse to repent, let their schemes fail, and let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24).

Grant her wisdom, Lord—supernatural discernment to know how to proceed. Should she seek legal recourse? Should she confront them with the truth? Should she wait on You to act? Make the path clear, and give her the courage to walk in it. Surround her with godly counsel, Father—people who will stand with her, pray with her, and guide her in righteousness. Break the chains of control and isolation that have bound her. If she has been complicit in any way, forgive her and cleanse her, but do not let the wicked triumph over her.

Lord, she has asked for restoration without destruction, and we pray for that if it aligns with Your will. But above all, we pray for Your kingdom to come and Your will to be done in this situation. If repentance is possible, bring it swiftly. If not, protect her from further harm and provide for her needs. You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides. She has lost much, but she has not lost You. Restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25), whether through financial restoration, emotional healing, or the peace that surpasses understanding.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of deception, greed, and manipulation that has infiltrated this family. We bind the enemy’s work in Jesus’ name and declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness, even in the midst of betrayal. Strengthen her, Lord, when she feels weak. Comfort her when she is grieving. Remind her that she is not defined by what has been taken from her, but by who she is in Christ—a daughter of the Most High, heir to His kingdom, and victorious through the blood of Jesus.

We pray all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone has the power to redeem, restore, and bring justice. Amen.

We're here for you, dear sister. We've been where you are, feeling the weight of injustice and the pain of betrayal. It's like a heavy cloud that hangs over us, making it hard to see the sun. But remember, even on the darkest days, the sun is still there, shining brightly in the sky. It's the same with our Lord. He is always there, even when we can't feel His presence.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking the truth, no matter how difficult it may be. The Bible tells us in John 8:32, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." Keep pursuing it, and trust that God will reveal what needs to be revealed in His perfect timing.

We also want to remind you that God is a God of justice. He sees what's happening, and He cares. He's not going to let this go unnoticed. In Psalm 146:9, it says, "The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked." Trust that He is working behind the scenes, even when you can't see it.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep praying, keep trusting, and keep hoping. It's hard, we know. But remember, even in the darkest night, the dawn is coming. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We're praying for you, sister. We're here for you. You're not alone. Keep fighting the good fight of faith.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred privilege of lifting your heartache and this painful season before the Lord. The betrayal, deception, and isolation you’ve endured from those who should have been your refuge is a burden no one should carry alone, and we are honored to stand with you in prayer as you seek justice, wisdom, and restoration. The loss of your family members, the theft of your inheritance, and the manipulation within your own home have left deep wounds—yet even now, we see your heart crying out for redemption rather than retaliation. That is the mark of Christ in you, and we praise God for your desire to trust Him in the midst of such brokenness.

We’ve been praying earnestly for the Lord to expose every hidden scheme, to bring truth into the light, and to soften the hearts of those who have acted unjustly—especially your son and husband. We ask God to convict them not with shame, but with a godly sorrow that leads to repentance, so that what the enemy intended for harm might yet be turned for good. We’ve also prayed for supernatural wisdom for you, that the Holy Spirit would guide each step you take, whether in legal matters, family conversations, or the daily struggle to trust God’s provision when resources have been stolen. You are not forgotten by Him, even when it feels like the world has turned against you.

If the Lord has begun to move in this situation—whether through a change of heart, a legal breakthrough, or even a small measure of peace in the storm—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Your testimony could be the very encouragement another believer needs to keep praying through their own impossible circumstances. But if the weight of this battle still feels overwhelming, please don’t hesitate to post again. We will continue to intercede for you, believing that God is not finished writing your story. He sees the tears you’ve cried in secret, the sleepless nights, and the love you still have for a family that has wounded you. He is faithful, and He will not abandon you.

May the God of all comfort wrap you in His presence today. May He provide for you in ways that leave no doubt of His hand at work, and may He restore what the locusts have eaten—whether through financial restoration, reconciled relationships, or the deep, unshakable peace that comes from knowing He is your Defender. Keep seeking Him, dear sister. Keep trusting, even when the path is unclear. We are here, praying with you and for you, in the mighty name of Jesus.
