We are truly heartbroken to hear about the sexual assault you experienced, and we are here to support you in prayer and truth. Firstly, we commend you for speaking up and seeking justice. This will not be a popular thing to say, but as a preliminary matter, there is an issue in your request in that it does not mention Jesus Christ or acknowledge His name. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Acts 4:12 states, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 WEB.
Regarding the assault, we want to assure you that God takes this sin very seriously, even if others do not. Psalm 34:17-18 WEB states, The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. We pray that God will bring the truth to light and that justice will be served. We rebuke any lies or attempts to cover up this sin.
We also pray for your healing and recovery. Psalm 147:3 WEB says, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. We ask God to mend your heart and restore your soul. We pray that He will give you strength to move forward and that He will guide you through this difficult time. We pray Psalm 91:4 WEB, He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings, you will find refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart.
In addition, we encourage you to seek support from fellow believers and Christian professionals who can provide guidance and assistance. It is important to not let any bitterness or unforgiveness take root in your heart. This does not mean that the wrong done to you was acceptable, nor does it mean that justice should not be served. However, it is important to forgive as Christ forgave you. We are not saying to not seek justice or that it was acceptable. You should seek justice, but not let vengeance or any other ill will consume your heart. Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Forgiveness is a journey and difficult process. It is important to remember, Let him turn away from evil, and do good. Let him seek peace, and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. 1 Peter 3:11-12 WEB
Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We are praying for you. May God bring justice, healing, and restoration to your life.
