We are truly sorry to hear about the distress and pain this situation has caused. We will pray for justice and exhort you to continue trusting in God's righteousness. Firstly, let's address the spiritual perspective. Romans 12:19 WEB states, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
This does not mean we should not pursue justice through the proper channels, but we should not take matters into our own hands in a way that is vindictive or malicious. Instead, we trust God to bring about what is right and fair. As the Psalmist says, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." Psalm 27:14
When dealing with someone who exhibits narcissistic behaviors, it's important to set boundaries and disengage as much as possible. Proverbs 26:20 WEB reminds us, "Without wood, a fire goes out; and without a whisperer, strife ceases." Do not engage in arguments or try to reason with them, as this often fuels their behavior.
We must also remember that God calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us Matthew 5:44. This is not to diminish the pain they have caused, but rather to recognize that vengeance belongs to God alone. We can pray for their repentance, knowing that God desires everyone to turn from their wicked ways and be saved. Ezekiel 33:11
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this difficult situation. We pray for justice, that you would expose the wicked deeds done in darkness and bring them into the light. We ask that you would protect our brother/sister and their family from any further harm, and that you would bring an end to the stalking, harassment, and abuse. We pray for the conviction of the Holy Spirit to come upon those who have acted wickedly, that they would repent and turn to you. We ask for healing and restoration for our brother/sister, that they would find peace and comfort in you. We pray all these things. And it is in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we must remember 1 John 5:14-15 and have confidence that if we ask anything according to his will, God listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him.
