We lift you up before the Lord, knowing that He is your healer and protector. It is good that you have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we have access to the Father. "There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). We thank God that you recognize His power and authority in your life, and we join you in seeking His intervention.
The discomfort you are feeling after eating is a reminder of our frailty, but also an opportunity to trust in God’s strength. We pray that the Lord would touch your body and bring swift relief from this sickness. May He calm your stomach, remove any nausea, and prevent any asthma or wheezing from arising. The Scriptures declare, "He forgives all your iniquities. He heals all your diseases" (Psalm 103:3, WEB), and we claim this promise over you now. We also rebuke any spiritual attacks or assignments of the enemy against your health, for greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4, WEB). The Lord is your shield and defender, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB).
We also hear your heart’s cry for your close ones, and we pray that God would soften their hearts and turn them from hatred, bitterness, or any harmful behavior. The Bible tells us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32, WEB). We ask the Lord to break down walls of division and replace strife with peace, misunderstanding with clear communication, and hatred with love. May He grant you wisdom in how to respond to them, and may His Spirit move mightily in their lives to bring conviction and repentance where needed.
As you prepare to go out, we pray for the Lord’s covering over you—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. May He go before you, making your paths straight, and guard you from any harm or distress. "The Lord himself will go before you. He will be with you. He will not fail you. He will not forsake you. Don’t be afraid. Don’t be discouraged" (Deuteronomy 31:8, WEB).
Father, we thank You for Your goodness and mercy over this dear one. We ask that You would heal their body completely, removing all sickness and preventing any asthma attack. Lord, we bind every scheme of the enemy against their health and declare that Your peace and protection surround them. We also lift up their loved ones to You, asking that You would break chains of bitterness and restore relationships through Your love. Grant them the grace to communicate in ways that honor You, and bring unity where there has been division. Cover them as they go out today, and let Your presence be their comfort and strength. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
