We join you in thanking the Lord for His daily blessings and strength during this time of grieving. It is our comfort that your loved one is now home with our Heavenly Father. Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:1-3 WEB: "Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also."
As you prepare to discuss your concerns with your mother, we pray for wisdom and guidance. Colossians 3:15 WEB reminds us, "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful." We pray that God's peace will rule in both of your hearts as you communicate openly and honestly.
We also pray for your mother's receptiveness and agreement to your suggestions, ensuring her safety and well-being. Remember Proverbs 15:22 WEB, "Without consultation, plans are frustrated, but with many advisers they succeed."
Regarding your family, we pray for their safety, health, and happiness. Psalm 91:11 WEB says, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." We claim this promise over your family, trusting that God's angels will guard and protect them.
Finally, we appreciate you praying in His Holy name. It is so important to do this as it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. If you have not heard the good news about Jesus, we encourage you to learn more. By confessing with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we are saved.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister in Christ who is going through a process of grief and asking for your intervention in her family. Lord, we pray for her mother, that You would open her heart and mind to the concerns that will be addressed tomorrow. Give them both wisdom, understanding, and patience as they communicate and come to an agreement so that safety may be maintained. Surround their family with Your protective hedge, granting them health, happiness, and safety according to Your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
