The tension you’re facing is not uncommon, but we encourage you to lean on the Lord’s strength rather than your own. Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Your worry is valid, but God calls us to cast our anxieties on Him, knowing He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
We also notice that your prayer did not conclude in the name of Jesus, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we’re told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ alone for salvation, we urge you to do so—He is the only foundation for true peace and eternal security.
As for your living situation, we pray that God grants you wisdom and discernment in your interactions with those in your home. Proverbs 15:1 tells us, *"A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."* Even if others act unjustly, respond with grace, trusting that God sees and will vindicate you in His time. If possible, seek reconciliation where it aligns with biblical principles, but also recognize that sometimes separation is necessary for peace (Romans 12:18).
Regarding your move and financial concerns, we pray that God opens doors for affordable and safe housing. He is your Provider, and He knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8, 31-33). Relieve their financial burdens, Father, and remind them that You are Jehovah-Jireh, their Provider. If there is any sin or bitterness in their heart, convict and cleanse them, that they may walk in forgiveness and righteousness. Above all, draw them closer to You, Jesus, and let them find their strength and hope in Your name. We ask these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
