You've highlighted a powerful truth from John 16:24, where Jesus Christ says, Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. Firstly, let's address the foundational aspect of prayer. It's crucial to understand that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son. There is no other name by which we can be saved: Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
