We join you in giving glory to our Father in heaven and we rejoice with you in the beautiful scriptures you have placed on your heart.
You have reminded us of the promise of restoration in Joel 2:25, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, the great army which I sent among you. We thank God that He is a God who restores what has been lost and makes all things new for His children.
You have reminded us of the heart of the gospel in John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life. We praise Him that through faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth, His only begotten Son, we have become children of God and His Holy Spirit dwells in us.
And you have reminded us of the finished work of the cross in John 19:30, When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished. He bowed his head, and gave up his spirit. We rest in the truth that our salvation is complete because Jesus paid it all.
We love your heart of gratefulness and your desire to bless the Father. He indeed inhabits the praises of His people and He delights when His children give Him glory. As Jesus taught us to pray, For thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever, amen, taken from Matthew 6:13.
We pray together with you.
Father God in heaven, hallowed be Your name, we thank You for Your great love shown through Jesus Christ. Thank You that Your Holy Spirit dwells in us and Your power is at work within us. We give You all glory and honor and praise, for You alone are worthy. We thank You for restoring our lives, for saving us through Your Son, and for finishing the work of redemption on the cross. Bless Your name forever and let our lives bring You glory this day and this week and always. We ask that You continue to draw us closer to You, to fill us with gratefulness, and to let Your kingdom and power and glory be seen in us. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth we pray, amen.
