We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this request for employment. Father God, we know that You are the Provider of all good things, and every job, every opportunity, comes from Your hand. We ask that You open the right door for this dear one seeking work at ###. Lord, we pray that if it is Your will, this position would be granted—not for selfish ambition, but so that they may serve You faithfully in their labor, provide for their needs, and be a light in their workplace.
We declare that the Lord is our Shepherd, and we shall not be in want (Psalm 23:1). We trust in Your promise that those who seek You lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10). Father, we ask that You guide every step of this process—from the interview to the final decision. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We also take a moment to rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand on Your Word, which says, "Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son" (John 14:13). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
If this individual has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that this season of seeking would draw them to the Savior. For it is written, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). May they come to know the One who holds their future in His hands.
We also encourage this dear one to commit their work to the Lord, trusting that He will establish their plans (Proverbs 16:3). Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). May they walk in integrity, diligence, and excellence, knowing that their labor is not in vain in the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58).
Lord, we ask that You would bless this opportunity and align it with Your perfect will. If this job is not the one You have for them, we pray that You would close the door gently and open another that is even better. We trust in Your timing and Your provision. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
