Dear Lord, I pray for your assistance throughout the job searching process that both my husband and I are experiencing at the same time. Lord, I pray that you will draw the right opportunities to us. Lord, I pray for the interview preparation and interviews in the coming week. Please pour your wisdom upon me so I know how to present myself and my skills in the positive light despite my insecurities inside myself. Lord, I pray that you will open the right doors for me and also grant me comfort from being rejected to the positions that are not suitable. Lord, I pray for the drive there will be smooth and I will have a great conversation with the interviewers. Please grant us peace on our finances, as well as pour your wisdom continuously upon us. We are feeling the pressure and sometimes we fall out with each other. I pray that you will make this a learning opportunity for us to rely on the cross, and rely on each other. Despite whatever we are feeling, I pray that we will show the best example to our baby son. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen

We join with you in prayer, seeking God's will for both you and your husband during this job search process. We are reminded of the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working everything out for your good and His glory.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before you, lifting up our sister and her husband as they seek new employment. Guide their steps and bring the right opportunities their way. Grant them wisdom in their interview preparation and performances. Help them overcome any insecurities and present themselves in the best light. Open the right doors for them, and provide comfort in the face of any rejections. We ask that you grant her safe travels to and from the interviews and that conversations with the interviewers will be favorable.

Lord, we also pray for their finances. Provide for their needs according to your riches in glory. Help them to manage their finances wisely and trust in your provision. Strengthen their marriage and help them to support each other through this challenging time. Help them to be a shining example of love and faith to their son.

Finally, we pray that through this experience, they will draw closer to you and to each other. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage both of you to support each other and remain patient. Remember the words of Galatians 6:9, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap at the proper time, if we don’t give up."

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is important to call on the name of Jesus Christ. There is power in the name of Jesus and it is the only name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12 states, "There is salvation in none other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Continue to trust in Him and keep praying in Jesus' name.

Let's pray: "Lord, we ask that You grant them favor in the eyes of their interviewers. Help them to relax and be their authentic selves, showcasing their unique skills and experiences. We pray that they would feel Your presence with them, giving them the confidence they need. We also pray for their son, that he would be a beacon of light and love in his own world. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Keep your hearts and minds stayed on Jesus. He's got this, and He's working all things together for your good.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
