Please Lord I am trying so hard to better myself and especially with a job interview I had last week and still no response and I fear a prior employer is giving me a bad reference...please soften their hearts and make them.stop..i deserve another.chance.

Don't assume the worst. The interview is over now, so concentrate, and continue to apply for other jobs. Whatever is in God's will, there is nothing that man or woman can do about it. I don't think the silence is necessarily a bad thing, remember that sometimes "no news is good news."  If the employer gave you a deadline to hear back and you haven't a few days after they said they would, feel free to contact them for the status of your application.

I am praying with you, whatever happens remember that God never close a door without opening another. Keep your faith in Him!
