Job Prayer

Do you ever get tired of praying about the same thing? I'm a well practiced worshipper, but I still sometimes say to God, "Please....this job stuff is too painful." But I'm doing all I can do. It really will be God that gets me my next job, because my efforts don't work at all anymore. Its been two years now...it just hurts way too much. Please send job prayers my way. My family really needs the money. Thank you!

Father God, complacency is one of the strongest weapons of the enemy, and we bind this spirit away from Shay's life. I pray that as You have closed some doors, You would open others that offer him a new beginning in his career path. Let him be open to what You placed in front of him, without prejudging it according to his wants or desires. We know You use stepping stones to get us to our final destination, so I would pray for patience and enthusiasm to settle within Shay. We pray for Your leading and blessings as 2011 unfolds. In the name of Jesus we pray, giving glory to You for all blessings of the past and present, and those yet to come. Amen.

Yes, we get tired of waiting on the answer we want Lord, but I thank You for giving grace to Shay to not give up. I pray that if there is something You have planned that You would cause him to hear as he seeks Your direction. May the needs of his family be met spiritually, financially & relationally. Cause them to grow closer together & to You in this time of maturing in Christ. In Jesus Name. Heavenly Father,

Please encourage Shay. Lift his spirit. Help him set his eyes on You and get refreshed and re-energized by Your Holy Spirit. May he be surrounded by the love of his family and Your awesome peace that passes all understanding. Help him to wait on You faithfully, to walk in obedience and to see Your provision exceed his expectations. In Jesus' name, Amen.

In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your + requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will guard your + hearts and your + thoughts in Christ Jesus.
