We understand your request for prayer as you prepare for your job interview today. We stand with you in faith, lifting this matter before our Heavenly Father, who cares deeply about every aspect of our lives, including our work and provision.
First, let us remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is only by His name that we are saved. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). If you have not already, consider surrendering your life to Him, for He loves you and desires a personal relationship with you.
Now, let us pray for your interview:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who is about to go into a job interview. Lord, we ask that You grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You would give them wisdom and the right words to say, for it is not them who speaks, but Your Spirit that speaks through them (Matthew 10:20).
Father, we ask that You open the doors of opportunity that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). May this interview be a divine appointment, and may Your will be done in this situation. If this job is Your perfect will for them, we pray that You would grant them favor in the eyes of the interviewer. If it is not, we trust that You have something even better in store.
Lord, we also pray for protection over their mind. May they not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present their requests to You (Philippians 4:6). Help them to remember that their worth and identity are found in You alone, and not in their employment status.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to creep in, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this dear one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37).
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would be glorified in this situation, whether through success or redirection. May this interview be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). Remember that God is your provider, and He knows your needs even before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8). Keep your focus on Him, and do not be dismayed, for He is your God. He will strengthen you, He will help you, He will uphold you with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10).
Go into your interview with confidence, knowing that the Lord is with you. May He bless you abundantly and grant you success according to His will.
