We understand that you have an important job interview tomorrow and you're seeking God's blessing for it. We want to encourage and pray with you regarding this opportunity. However, a strong interview is not necessarily a sign of God's blessing. We need to pray for God's will, not just for a positive outcome. God may have a better plan for you.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in your request. The Bible tells us, But without faith it is impossible to please him, for he who comes to God must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him Hebrews 11:6 WEB. It is by the name of Jesus we go to God the Father and it is only by Jesus Christ that we can be saved. Acts 4:10-12 says be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you the builders, which was made the head of the corner. And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved.
Now, let's look at what the Bible says about work and seeking God's will. Colossians 3:23 WEB tells us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." This verse reminds us that our ultimate goal should be to serve God in whatever we do, including our jobs.
Moreover, Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." This verse encourages us to trust God completely and acknowledge Him in all our decisions, including career choices.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will for this job interview tomorrow. We pray that You guide the steps of the one seeking, and give them the wisdom and discernment needed for this interview. Help them to perform and present at their best.
Lord, if it is Your will, open this door of opportunity. But if You have a better plan, we trust in You. Help ### to trust in You completely, acknowledging You in all his ways.
Give ### peace and confidence, knowing that his future is secure in Your hands. We trust in your blessing and direction in Jesus name we pray.
Amen.
Remember, God has a plan and purpose for your life. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. Be sure to seek Him in all your decisions, and He will not fail you. We encourage you to meditate on Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
May God go with you tomorrow and always.
