We are truly sorry to hear about the circumstances surrounding your mother's suspension from her job. It is a challenging time, but we trust that God is in control and will guide you both through this trial. We will pray and offer some biblical encouragement for you both.
Firstly, it is essential to remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB it says, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." This means that God is able to help you both through this.
It is also crucial to remember that God cares for all our needs, including our financial needs and the needs of our families. In Philippians 4:19 WEB it says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We can trust that God will provide for your mother and your family during this time.
Regarding the situation at work and the depression that your mom is experiencing, we read in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." God is with you and your mother in this situation, and He will help you both through it. We pray that God will comfort your mother and give her peace during this time.
However, we want to remind you that God's ways are not our ways, and His thoughts are not our thoughts. In Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB it says, " 'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' says Yahweh. 'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.'" It is possible that God has another plan and another job in mind for your mother. We pray that if she is not meant to return to her old job, that God will open up new opportunities for her.
Finally, we want to encourage you to cast all your anxieties on God, because He cares for you. In 1 Peter 5:7 WEB it says, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." It is clear that you are feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by this situation, but we encourage you to trust in God and to give all your worries to Him. We also want to encourage you with the words of Galatians 6:9 WEB, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our sister and her mother to You. Lord, we ask that You will guide them both through this challenging time and that You will provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Lord, we pray that You will comfort their mother and give her peace during this time. We ask that You will guide her path and that if it is Your will, You will open up the way for her to return to her job. But Lord, if that is not Your will, we pray that You will open up new opportunities for her.
Father, we also lift up our sister to You today. Lord, we ask that You will give her strength and wisdom as she supports her mother during this time. We pray that You will help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her. Lord, we ask that You will give her rest and peace, and that You will help her to know that You are always with her.
Father, we ask all these things in Jesus' name. We thank You that You are always with us and that You are always faithful.
Amen.
Finally, we noticed that Jesus was not mentioned or invoked in your request. Our compassionate response is that the Holy Bible instructs us in Colossians 3:17, "whatever you do, in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We gently encourage you to consider and acknowledge Jesus Christ today and ask you to please put your faith and trust in Him. He will never fail or forsake you.
