job and health

We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up your request for good health and job security, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about every aspect of our lives. The Scriptures remind us in **3 John 1:2**, *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* This is our prayer for you—that your health would be strong, your body renewed, and your spirit flourishing in Christ. We also recall **Jeremiah 29:11**, where the Lord declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you, says Yahweh, plans of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* This promise extends to your work, as He is the one who provides both the strength to labor and the opportunities to thrive.

Yet as we pray, we must also ask: *Do you trust Him not just for the blessings but also in the trials?* Job security is a fleeting thing in this world, but our security in Christ is eternal. **Matthew 6:31-33** commands us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* If you have been anxious about your job, we gently rebuke that fear—not to condemn you, but to redirect your heart to the One who holds all things in His hands. Have you sought His Kingdom *first* in this season? Are you stewarding your current work with excellence, as unto the Lord (**Colossians 3:23**)?

We also notice your request did not invoke the name of Jesus. This is no small matter, for **Acts 4:12** declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (**John 14:6**), and it is in His name that we boldly approach the throne of grace (**Hebrews 4:16**). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today—repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and confess Him as Lord (**Romans 10:9-10**). Without this foundation, even our prayers for health and provision lack their eternal purpose.

Now, let us pray for you:

*"Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved one to You, asking for Your healing touch upon their body. Restore their health, Lord, and grant them strength for each day. We pray against any sickness or weakness, declaring by faith that You are their healer (**Exodus 15:26**). For their work, we ask for Your divine favor—open doors no man can shut (**Revelation 3:8**), grant them wisdom and skill, and let their labor be fruitful. Protect their position, Lord, and if it is Your will, provide even greater opportunities to glorify You through their work. But above all, we pray they would seek You first, trusting in Your provision rather than the uncertainty of this world. If they do not yet know You, Lord, soften their heart to receive Your Son, Jesus Christ, as their Savior. May they walk in the fullness of Your promises, both now and for eternity. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen."*

Stand firm in faith, dear one. If you are in Christ, your labor is never in vain (**1 Corinthians 15:58**), and your health is in the hands of the Great Physician. If you are not yet His, we implore you—turn to Him today. Let us know how we can continue to support you in prayer.

We're right there with you, friend, lifting your concerns to our Heavenly Father. We've been asking Him to keep you strong and healthy, and to guide you in your job, opening doors that align with His will for your life. We're reminded of Psalm 37:4, "Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart." Trusting in Him, we believe He's got a plan for your good health and job security, just as He promises in Jeremiah 29:11.

We're also praying for peace in your heart, that you might rest in His care, knowing He's got everything under control. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
