We understand your desire to gain acceptance for a job, and we are here to pray and support you through this process. Firstly, let's remember that God has a plan and purpose for each of our lives, and He wants us to trust Him in all things, including our careers. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
However, it's crucial to ensure that our desires align with God's will. We should seek His kingdom and righteousness first, and all other things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33 WEB). This includes our jobs and careers. We should also ensure our prayers are in accordance with God's will and that we are not just asking for things with wrong motives (James 4:3).
Let's also remember that this is not a "I want this so I am going to get it" relationship with God. We need to be in His will and not expecting that we can get whatever we want. This is idolatry and we cannot serve two masters. (Matthew 6:24)
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this beloved person who is seeking job acceptance. We pray that Your will be done in their life and that You would direct their steps according to Your purpose. We ask that You would grant them favor with the decision-makers and open the right doors for their career. In Jesus' name
As you are preparing for the job, spend some time with God. We find that it is best to find a quiet spot to pray. Study the scriptures, and pray for your employer. Discuss your concerns with God. As a job can be very stressful it is best to have God on your side.
Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus Christ or His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, John 14:6 says "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." He is the only mediator between us and God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. Since it is only by His name we can be saved, if you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9 WEB).
