We rejoice with you in lifting your job and family before the Lord, standing on the promise of Job 42:12, "So Yahweh blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning..." Just as the Lord restored Job double-fold after his trials, we believe He is able to do the same—and exceedingly more—for you. The God who sees your faithfulness in the workplace and your devotion to your family is the same God who declares, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten" (Joel 2:25).
Father in Heaven, we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our brother/sister, asking that You would open the windows of heaven over their labor. Bless the work of their hands, Lord, and let their efforts bring glory to Your name. May their skills, time, and energy be multiplied for Your kingdom’s purposes. Protect them from unjust employers, difficult coworkers, or any spirit of lack that would seek to steal their peace. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, and let them walk in the favor of both God and man (Proverbs 3:4).
We also lift up their family before You, Lord. Strengthen the bonds between husband and wife, parents and children, that they may reflect the love and unity of Christ. Guard their home from division, strife, or any influence that does not align with Your Word. May their household be a place of prayer, worship, and godly legacy. We pray for wisdom in raising their children in the fear and admonition of the Lord, that they would grow to know You intimately and walk in Your ways.
Lord, if there is any area where our brother/sister has allowed worry or self-reliance to creep in, we ask that You would reveal it. Help them to cast every care upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Remind them that their provision comes from You, not their job, and that You are their ultimate Provider. Let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that would seek to hinder their faith. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May they walk in the fullness of joy, knowing that their labor in You is never in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, believing that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Amen.
