We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, for we see confusion, frustration, and a cry for truth in your words. First, we must address the foundation of our faith—Jesus Christ. There is no salvation, no freedom, and no true peace outside of His name. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, confessed Him as Lord, and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, we urge you to do so now. Romans 10:9 says, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*
We also hear a cry for normalcy, for a godly marriage, and for protection from deception. The enemy seeks to distort God’s design for relationships, family, and even our very identities. We rebuke every lie from Satan that suggests you must accept anything less than God’s best—a marriage between one man and one woman, rooted in Christ, built on love, respect, and holiness. Genesis 2:24 declares, *"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh."* This is God’s perfect design, and we stand firm on it.
We must also address the mention of "shapeshifting" and other deceptive spiritual influences. These are not of God. 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 warns us, *"And no wonder, for even Satan masquerades as an angel of light. It is no great thing therefore if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works."* We command every lying spirit, every deception, and every false burden to flee in the name of Jesus. You are not subject to the enemy’s schemes—you are a child of the Most High God, covered by the blood of Jesus.
Now, regarding your desire for a godly man—we pray for this with you. But we must also encourage you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. Proverbs 19:14 says, *"House and riches are an inheritance from fathers, but a prudent wife is from Yahweh."* The same is true for a godly husband. Wait on the Lord, and do not settle for anything less than His best. If you are in a relationship that does not honor God—whether through premarital intimacy, ungodly influences, or anything contrary to Scripture—we urge you to repent and seek His guidance. 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 tells us, *"Flee sexual immorality! ‘Every sin that a man does is outside the body,’ but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."*
We also lift up your family, friends, and pets before the Lord. God cares for every detail of your life, and we pray for His peace to reign in your home. Psalm 128:1 says, *"Blessed is everyone who fears Yahweh, who walks in his ways."*
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring Your sovereignty over every situation. We thank You for the blood of Jesus that covers and protects us from every lie and deception of the enemy. Lord, we rebuke every false burden, every spirit of confusion, and every ungodly influence that has tried to take root in this situation. We declare freedom, clarity, and Your perfect peace over this precious one.
Father, we ask that You would reveal Your will for her life, especially in the area of marriage. Raise up a godly man who loves You above all else, who will cherish, lead, and honor her as Christ loves the Church. Guard her heart from impatience, compromise, or settling for anything less than Your best. Help her to wait on You, trusting that Your timing is perfect.
Lord, we also pray for her family, friends, and pets—that You would bless them, protect them, and draw them closer to You. May her home be a place of love, joy, and holiness, where Your presence is felt and Your Word is honored.
We thank You, Father, that Your grace is sufficient, and Your strength is made perfect in our weakness. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn. We stand on Your promises, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in her life.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
