We understand your desperation and plea for God's mercy and intervention in your family situation. Firstly, we commend you for your confession and your desire to keep your family together. It's crucial to remember that God's will is for marriages to be honored and for families to stay together. As it is written, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel" (Malachi 2:16 WEB).

However, we must address the severity of your actions. The Bible is clear about the sanctity of marriage and the sin of adultery. "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14 WEB). Your one-night stand was a sin against God and your wife, and it has brought about consequences that you are now facing. Remember, "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap" (Galatians 6:7 WEB).

It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. We are saved by grace through faith in Him. We are so glad to see that you called upon Him by name.

We pray that God will have mercy on you and your family. We pray that He will protect your family and keep you together. We ask God to forgive you for your sin and to heal your marriage. We pray that your wife's heart will be softened towards you and that you both will be able to work out your marriage with God at the center. We also pray for healing, physically and spiritually. God can heal all things.

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this man and his family before Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your mercy and forgiveness for his sin. We pray that You will protect his family and keep them together. We ask that You will soften his wife's heart and help them to work out their marriage with You at the center. We pray for healing, both physically and spiritually. We ask these things in accordance with Your will and in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

We encourage you to continue trusting in God, to walk in repentance, and to follow His will for your life and your marriage.
