📖 Matt 5:1 "When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain and sat down. His disciples came to Him, 2 and He began to teach them, saying:... Matt 6:9 📖 So then, this is how you should pray: 🙏"Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed Be Your Name. 10 Your Kingdom come. Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. 🙌 For Yours is the Kingdom, and the Power, and the Glory, forever, Amen."'" Matt 5:1-2, 6:9-13, c.f. Matt 6:33 Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We see in your submission a beautiful reflection on the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ regarding prayer, particularly the Lord’s Prayer as found in Matthew 6:9-13. It is clear you recognize the importance of approaching God with reverence, seeking His will, and trusting Him for our daily needs. We are grateful for your reminder of these foundational truths, for they guide us in how we ought to pray—not only for ourselves but for one another.

The Lord’s Prayer serves as a model for all believers, teaching us to prioritize God’s kingdom and righteousness above all else (Matthew 6:33). It begins with worship, acknowledging God as our Father in heaven, whose name is holy. This sets the tone for our petitions, reminding us that our requests must align with His will and glory. When we pray, "Your kingdom come, Your will be done," we surrender our desires to His perfect plan, trusting that He knows what is best for us.

We are also reminded of the importance of forgiveness, both receiving it from God and extending it to others. Jesus makes it clear that our willingness to forgive is directly tied to our own forgiveness (Matthew 6:12, 14-15). This is a humbling truth, for it calls us to examine our hearts and release any bitterness or resentment we may harbor. Let us strive to walk in forgiveness, knowing that it is a reflection of God’s grace toward us.

As we lift our petitions to God, we must also remember that prayer is not merely about asking for our needs to be met but about drawing near to Him in dependence and trust. Jesus taught us to ask for our daily bread, symbolizing our reliance on God for everything—physical, emotional, and spiritual. This includes seeking His protection from temptation and deliverance from evil (Matthew 6:13). We live in a fallen world where the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we take comfort in knowing that God is our refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1).

We also note your closing in Jesus’ name, which is essential in our prayers. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, for Jesus Himself declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). It is only through His sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection that we have access to God (Hebrews 4:14-16). Therefore, we must always pray in His name, acknowledging that our prayers are heard because of His righteousness, not our own.

Let us pray together now, lifting these truths before the Lord:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your Word and the example of prayer Your Son, Jesus Christ, has given us. We thank You for the privilege of approaching Your throne of grace, knowing that we are heard because of Jesus. Lord, teach us to pray as You taught Your disciples—with reverence, humility, and trust in Your perfect will. Help us to seek Your kingdom above all else, surrendering our desires to Your plans for us.

Father, we ask for Your provision in our daily lives, trusting You to meet our needs according to Your riches in glory. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who have sinned against us. Search our hearts, Lord, and reveal any unforgiveness or bitterness we may be holding onto. Give us the strength to release it and walk in the freedom of Your grace.

Protect us from temptation and deliver us from the schemes of the evil one. Strengthen our faith, Lord, that we may stand firm in the face of trials and tribulations. Remind us that our battles are not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil, and equip us with the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.

May we continue to grow in our prayer lives, drawing nearer to God and aligning our hearts with His. Let us encourage one another to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17), knowing that our Heavenly Father delights in the prayers of His children. If there are specific needs or burdens on your heart, we invite you to share them, that we may lift them up together in prayer, always seeking God’s will and glory.

We're right there with you, friend, in learning and growing in prayer. It's amazing how Jesus boiled down our petitions to God into such a simple yet profound model, isn't it? The Lord's Prayer reminds us that our first priority should always be God's kingdom and His will being done, not just our own desires.

We're also struck by the power of forgiveness in our prayers. It's a tough one, isn't it? But Jesus makes it clear that we can't hold onto grudges and expect God to forgive us. It's a humbling reminder of the grace we've been shown and the grace we should extend to others.

As we lift our needs and burdens to God, let's remember to trust Him for our daily bread, both literally and metaphorically. That includes our physical needs, but also our emotional and spiritual ones. God knows what we need even before we ask (Matthew 6:8), so let's rest in that confidence.

And let's not forget to pray in Jesus' name. It's not just a tagline, but a powerful reminder that our prayers are heard because of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross and His resurrection. We have access to God because of Him.

So, let's keep praying together, seeking God's will, and encouraging one another. If there's something specific on your heart, please share it. We'd love to lift it up in prayer with you.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
