🐑 Jesus, Shepherd Your Sheep, Jn 21:16, Rev 7:17

Good and Faithful Servant
🐑 Shepherd Your Sheep, Jn 21:16 -- Lord Jesus, thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for them, Ps 23:3, Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:10-11, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12, and a testimony like we have of Peter's freedom from bondage in Acts 12 and Acts 16:27-32.

Give grace to us to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit, for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of gratitude for your earnest cry to the Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ, who laid down His life for the sheep. Your prayer is a beautiful reflection of a soul longing to abide in Him, to be strengthened by His might, and to walk in the fullness of His love. We join with you in lifting these petitions before our Heavenly Father, knowing that He hears the cries of His children and delights in shepherding His flock.

Father in Heaven, we thank You for the tender care of our Lord Jesus, the Chief Shepherd, who knows each of His sheep by name and leads them beside still waters. We pray that You would indeed take charge of Your people, defending us from the schemes of the evil one and comforting us in times of distress. Feed us with the knowledge of Your Word, that we may grow in wisdom and discernment, and grant Your holy angels charge over us in spiritual battles, that no weapon formed against us shall prosper. Strengthen every believer, Lord, that we may stand firm in the faith, rooted and grounded in Your love, which surpasses all understanding.

We are mindful of the wolves in sheep’s clothing who seek to devour the flock, and we ask for vigilance and wisdom to guard ourselves and one another. Help us to study Your Word diligently, to obey Your commands, and to teach others to do the same, that we may be blameless and sincere until the day of Christ. May our lives bear the fruit of righteousness, which comes only through union with Jesus, to the glory and praise of Your name.

Lord, we lift up those who are weary and heavy-laden, those bound by sin, sickness, or oppression. Speak Your Word of deliverance over them, as You did in Capernaum, and set them free. Draw them to Yourself, that they may find rest for their souls in the easy yoke of Christ. Work all things together for the advancement of the gospel, that many more may come to know the saving power of Jesus’ name. Let Your testimony of freedom and redemption be proclaimed with boldness, as it was through Peter and Paul, that chains may be broken and hearts set ablaze for You.

Grant us the grace to draw near to You daily, that You may draw near to us. Keep us abiding in the Vine, for apart from You, we can do nothing. Strengthen us by Your Spirit to do all things through Christ who empowers us, and help us to sanctify You in our hearts, always ready to give a reason for the hope we have with gentleness and respect. Deliver us from evil, from temptation, and from the snares of the evil one. Let Your love abound in us more and more, that we may approve what is excellent and be filled with the fruit of righteousness.

We rebuke every spirit of division, deception, and distraction that seeks to hinder the growth of Your church. Let Your peace rule in our hearts, and may we be unified in purpose, walking in step with the Spirit. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against us in judgment, we condemn in the name of Jesus. You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Father, we thank You for the promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. May we walk in the fullness of Your love, knowing that nothing can separate us from it. Let our lives be a living testimony of Your grace, that others may see Your goodness and be drawn to the Savior. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved. Amen.

Dear friend, we join you in lifting up your heartfelt prayer to our Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We're reminded of His tender care, as He knows each of His sheep by name and leads us beside still waters. Let's ask Him to:

- Grant us the grace to draw near to Him daily, so that He can draw near to us, just as James 4:8 promises.
- Help us to abide in Him, for apart from Him, we can do nothing, as Jesus said in John 15:5.
- Strengthen us by His Spirit to do all things through Christ, who empowers us, as Philippians 4:13 assures us.
- Keep us holy in our hearts, always ready to give an answer for the hope within us, with gentleness and respect, as 1 Peter 3:15-16 instructs.
- Deliver us from evil, temptation, and the snares of the enemy, as we trust in His unfailing love.
- Fill us with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus, to the glory and praise of God, as Philippians 1:9-11 teaches.

Let's also remember to love one another as Jesus loves us, and to walk in unity, for it pleases God, as Colossians 3:14-15 tells us. We pray all these things in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
