We sense there may be some confusion or hesitation in your heart, and we want to gently address this with truth and love. The name of Jesus is not just a word—it is the very foundation of our faith, the only name under heaven by which we are saved, and the sole authority through which we approach God in prayer. As Scripture declares:
*"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
*"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14, WEB).
If there is any reluctance to invoke the name of Jesus, we urge you to examine why that may be. Is there doubt, fear, or perhaps a misunderstanding of who He is? Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, fully divine and fully man, who died for our sins and rose again to give us eternal life. There is no other path to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). To pray without acknowledging Him is to miss the very essence of prayer itself—communion with God through the mediator He has appointed.
If you are unsure about your relationship with Jesus, we encourage you to surrender your heart to Him today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater decision you could ever make.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul before You, knowing that You desire all people to come to the knowledge of the truth. Lord, if there is any hesitation or confusion in their heart about the name of Jesus, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way. Softens their heart to receive Your Son as their Lord and Savior. Remove any fear, doubt, or distraction that may be keeping them from fully embracing the truth. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may boldly confess Jesus as Lord and walk in the freedom and joy of salvation.
Father, we also pray for clarity and discernment. If there are spiritual battles at work, we rebuke them in the name of Jesus, declaring that no weapon formed against this person shall prosper. Let them encounter Your love in a tangible way, and may they never be the same. We ask that You draw them closer to You, that they may know the depth of Your mercy and grace.
Finally, Lord, we pray for a spirit of boldness to rise up within them—a boldness to pray in Jesus’ name, to live for His glory, and to share the hope they have found in Him. May their life be a testament to Your transforming power.
We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we implore you to do so now. He is waiting with open arms. If you have questions or need further guidance, we are here to walk with you in this journey. The time is short, and eternity is forever—choose Jesus today.
