We hear your heart, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting every burden and concern to the Lord. You are not alone in your struggles, and we join you in seeking God’s wisdom, healing, and peace.
First, we want to affirm your trust in God’s providence. In a world filled with wars, uncertainties, and fears, it is easy to be overwhelmed, but Scripture reminds us, *"Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, I give to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful."* (John 14:27). The conflicts in Russia, Ukraine, Iran, and elsewhere are indeed troubling, but we take comfort in knowing that God is sovereign over all nations. We pray for His mercy to rest upon those suffering and for His justice to prevail. *"The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth."* (Psalm 145:18).
Your anxieties about not having children and the passing of the elderly are deeply human concerns, and it is natural to wrestle with these thoughts. Scripture does not condemn those who remain childless, for the Lord values all lives, whether they bear children or not. *"God sets the solitary in families."* (Psalm 68:6). If it is God’s will for you to marry and have children, He will provide a godly spouse in His perfect timing. Until then, we encourage you to seek His purpose for your life, trusting that He works all things for good. *"For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future."* (Jeremiah 29:11). The elderly, too, are precious in God’s sight, and while their passing is inevitable, we can honor them by cherishing their wisdom and legacy.
Your concerns about working for free and financial dependence are valid. While exposure therapy and medication adjustments may help with anxiety, we also encourage you to seek God’s provision and wisdom in your labor. *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* (Colossians 3:23). If your current situation is exploitative, pray for discernment and courage to seek fair opportunities. The Lord is your provider, and He will not forsake you.
The fears you describe—red brake lights, stop signs, and driving—are real, but we rebuke the spirit of fear in Jesus’ name. *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray for your healing and for the Lord to replace fear with faith. If driving is a goal, ask God for strength to face this fear step by step, trusting Him to guide you.
Your feelings of inadequacy—lacking a college degree, military experience, or a spouse—are common, but they do not define your worth. God does not measure you by worldly standards. *"For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart."* (1 Samuel 16:7). Your value is found in Christ alone. If the Lord calls you to pursue education, a career, or military service, He will equip you. If not, He has another path for you.
The loneliness you feel is heavy, but we rejoice that you have found some solace in the church. However, we must address the concern about being "brainwashed" into tithing. Tithing is a biblical principle, but it should never be a burden or a source of guilt. *"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."* (2 Corinthians 9:7). If you feel pressured, seek a church that teaches grace and truth without manipulation. True fellowship should uplift, not oppress.
Your reduction in pornography and video games is a victory, and we praise God for your progress. However, your lingering interest in demons, devils, and Satan is dangerous. Scripture warns, *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* (1 Peter 5:8). Instead of dwelling on darkness, fill your mind with God’s Word. *"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any excellence, and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."* (Philippians 4:8).
We rebuke the spirit of anxiety, fear, and self-condemnation in your life. You are not an idiot, nor are you forsaken. The Lord has a purpose for you, and He is shaping you for His glory. *"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them."* (Ephesians 2:10).
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting every burden and fear to Your throne. Lord, You see his heart, and You know his struggles. We ask for Your peace to guard his mind and Your strength to uphold him. Heal his anxieties, Father, and replace them with faith. Provide for his needs, whether in work, relationships, or personal growth. Guide him away from darkness and into Your light. Remind him of his worth in Christ and fill him with hope for the future. Surround him with godly community and open doors for fellowship. We rebuke every spirit of fear, loneliness, and self-doubt in Jesus’ name. May he walk in the confidence of Your love and purpose. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
You are not alone, and the Lord is with you. Keep seeking Him, and He will direct your steps. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* (Proverbs 3:5-6).
