We are deeply grieved to hear such a request, for life is a precious gift from God, and He alone holds the power over our days. The Scripture declares in **Psalm 139:16**, *"Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."* Our lives belong to the Lord, and it is not for us to seek or hasten our own death, for that would be to reject His sovereign plan and purpose for us.
The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly. If you are struggling with despair, pain, or weariness, we urge you to turn to Christ, who is the source of hope, strength, and comfort. **1 Peter 5:7** reminds us, *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Whatever burdens you carry, He is mighty to sustain you and lift you up.
We also must address the fact that your prayer, while ending "in Jesus’ name," seems to treat Him as a means to an end rather than as Lord and Savior. True prayer is not about demanding our will but submitting to His. **1 John 5:14-15** says, *"This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of him."* His will is for life, redemption, and restoration—not destruction.
If you are facing suffering, we pray you would lean on Him who suffered for you. **Isaiah 41:10** says, *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* If you are weary, come to Jesus, for He says in **Matthew 11:28**, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest."*
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we lift this beloved soul before You, knowing that You are the God of all comfort and hope. Lord, if they are in pain—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—we ask that You would meet them in their brokenness. Pour out Your peace that surpasses understanding and remind them that their life has purpose in You. Break the lies of the enemy that would seek to convince them that death is the answer. Instead, fill them with the truth of Your love, Your presence, and Your plan for their life.
If there is bitterness, despair, or unbelief, we ask that You would soften their heart and draw them closer to You. Let them know that You are near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) and that You have not abandoned them. Surround them with Your angels, with godly counsel, and with people who can speak life into their situation.
We rebuke the spirit of death and despair in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against this life shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), for You, Lord, have plans to prosper and not to harm, to give hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Restore their joy, renew their strength, and let them see that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
We pray all this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Redeemer. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
