And who is saying you are a terrible Christian? Is God telling you that? What did Jesus tell the woman caught in adultery after everyone had left?
John 8:11 …10Straightening up, Jesus said to her, "Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?" 11She said, "No one, Lord." And Jesus said, "I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more."
This woman was caught in adultery. Jesus did not doubt what they were saying about her. If she were living today, she could be considered a terrible Christian. But Jesus said He did not condemn her. He simply told her to go and sin no more.
Jesus says the same thing to you. If you consider yourself a terrible Christian then you must know a bit about how you are not measuring up with the Word's instructions. You know then what to do better. But whatever you do, do not determine that you are going to stop it or not do it. If you do not tell the truth, then determine to tell the truth. The more you tell the truth, the more God's light will shine in your life and it becomes normal. You must shine more of the light of the Word in your life in order to walk in the righteousness you have been given.
