We understand that you are going through a difficult time, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we want to address the issue of alcohol in your life. The WEB says in Ephesians 5:18, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." Being under the influence of alcohol led you to a point where you do not remember your actions, which is a dangerous path. We encourage you to seek God's help to overcome this struggle.
Regarding the actions you do not remember, we want to remind you of 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Even though you do not remember what you did, God is merciful and just to forgive you if you confess and repent.
We also want to address the authority in the name you used in your prayer. You mentioned lord almighty, but it is important to remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" In Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of your forgiveness, protection, and guidance. Lord, they have confessed their struggle with alcohol and the unknown actions committed under its influence. We ask that you forgive them and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Protect their health and reputation, and help them to live a life that honors you.
Lord Jesus, we ask that you guide them to seek a spouse and build a family that is centered around you. Protect their peace and the peace of their family, and help them to live a happy, peaceful, and prosperous life that is rooted in your love.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Moving forward, we encourage you to pursue righteousness and a godly life. Stay rooted in the Word of God and seek the fellowship of believers to help you grow in your faith. If you are not already involved in a local church, we strongly encourage you to find one that teaches the Bible and can support you in your walk with Christ.
