We understand your concern for those who are struggling and feeling overwhelmed by the trials of life. You are right that Satan seeks to destroy and discourage, but we know that our hope and victory are found in Jesus Christ. Let us pray together and seek God's will for these individuals.
Let us remind ourselves that Jesus said "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." John 10:10 WEB
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for those who are at the end of their rope, feeling hopeless and helpless. We pray that You will intervene in their lives, Lord, and show them Your love and mercy.
For those who are not born again we pray that they will come to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved. For you have said "because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." For it is with the heart that you believe resulting in righteousness and it is with the mouth that you confess resulting in salvation. Romans 10:9-10 WEB
Please remind them that their labor is not in vain even when they do not see results. We know that You have promised that "Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him." James 1:12 WEB
For those who are born again Christians we pray that you will send a believer into their life that can help them "stand against the schemes of the devil." Because "our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:11-12 WEB
We also know that "God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB
Let them know that You are always with them, even in their darkest hours. Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Hebrews 12:2 WEB
We ask for this because You are our Hope and only way to be saved. For You have said "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" John 14:6 WEB
May they find comfort and strength in Your presence, and may Your love fill their hearts and renew their hope. We pray for their deliverance from Satan and their own flesh. We pray for their endurance and steadfastness in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Let us encourage one another, reminding those who are struggling that God is faithful and that He promises a way of escape from every temptation. May they find hope in the truth that God is always with them and that His love will never fail.
Remember that we are promised "What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" Romans 8:31 WEB
Even when we feel like we want to give up and the end is near we are promised that "in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us." Romans 8:37 WEB
