The Good News is.... when we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Repenting means to turn and go another way. You do not have to fall into the trap of the enemy where he tries and convince you that you cannot resist this or that or whatever lie he is telling at the time. Christ died to set you free. Don't get all tangled up again in the weak and beggarly things of this world. Christ took your sins....ALL your sins and paid the price for them by dying for you and for me. He gave us HIS righteousness and in exchange He took all our sins. He shed His innocent blood in our behalf. Now He did all of that for us....the least we can do is believe HE did it. We must hold to the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ and honestly, there is no way you want to hurt HIM by continuing to practice sin or continuing to have fears that what HE did is not enough. When He said, It is finished....believe me....it is finished. Now all we must do is dare to live our lives like it is all true...because it is. Praise God. Now that is Good News and on top of everything else the Word of God states that our Lord ever lives to make intercession for us with the Father. Now that makes you want to shout...Hallelujah! Praise God! What a mighty God we serve.
We gladly put our future in Your hands, dear God, one day at a time as You have taught us to live through Your Word. We praise You for Your mercy and Your loving kindness towards us and our friends and families. Please take control and lead us minute by minute and day by day in Jesus Holy Name. Amen.
