Jesus Is The Only Answer!
"If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you. This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples." John 15:7-8
How are you going to get through your separation or divorce? How are you going to get through your court date? How are you going to get through your financial problems? How are your children going to survive? How are you going to get through the holidays that are coming in November and December? The only answer is Jesus.
God sent His only Son down on this earth to solve and answer all your problems. Jesus has all the answers and can move any and all of your mountains of circumstances. He can take you by His righteous right hand and guide you out of the valley of despair, brokenness and depression and lead you up to the mountain of victory of marriage restoration. Nothing is too hard for your Lord.
Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. Psalm 108:6
I failed as a wife to Bob. I put my career before my Lord, my husband and my children. My life was out of balance. I allowed the enemy to deceive me that my success and the money I was earning was more important than my family. Yes, I tried to balance everyone and everything, but I had compromised God's standards to the world's standards ever so quietly. I was blinded and deceived by the enemy.
I felt like I was an Eve after my divorce. Yes, I could point my fingers at my husband, but I was responsible for my own actions and words. I had not displayed my life as a Christian woman or wife or mother who was willing to love my husband unconditionally regardless of his behavior and forgive him as the Lord teaches us in the Bible. I was being a bad example even to my children. But God! In my despair and pain, I cried out to the Lord two months after our divorce. God heard me and knew my heart's cry. He touched and changed my life forever! Jesus is the only answer for any of your problems any day.
What is the Lord revealing to you as you have started seeking answers for your marriage to be restored? Have you failed in some areas of your marriage? Are you willing to start making some changes in your life? Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of your life? Do you pray and read the Bible daily? You must be willing to listen to the Holy Spirit to become more Christ-like. You have to learn to listen to the Holy Spirit to become the wife or husband that the Lord wants you to become.
Today allow the Lord to be the Gardener to prune away the dead branches that are not going to bear fruit for the Lord in your life and in your marriage. Allow the Lord to shape your branches so that you can grow and bear more fruit in your life daily.
"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful." John 15:1-2
Do not allow the enemy to defeat you, because of the problems and circumstances that you are facing today. The Lord can melt mountains of circumstances. He can turn a Saul into a Paul. He can part a Red Sea when the enemy is right behind you. Nothing is too hard for Him.
When you are praying for a miracle from the Lord there are some conditions that you must meet. You must abide in Him. You must believe in His mighty power. How big is your God? Do you really believe that He is able to heal and restore your marriage? Do you have a personal relationship with Him daily? Ask the Lord to give you a hunger and thirst to read His Word. You must learn and know His Word and especially the promises of God.
"You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:3-5
You must always remember, that without the Lord, you have no power. Are you able to say that your Lord has started turning your marriage problems around to good by you being a new creature in Christ or do you now know the Lord more intimately than ever before? Then praise the Lord. Are you now walking and talking with your Lord all the time? Did you have to hit rock bottom first before you were able to find out that your Lord was there all the time, waiting for you to call on His Name? If you are not there yet, call on His Name right now. "Jesus! Jesus! Jesus I need you! Lord, help me. Forgive me. Direct my steps every day for my marriage to be resurrected from the dead."
Most men and women that we work with say that they are better off right now in their personal lives than they had been, all because they have a deeper personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord of their lives. Jesus is the ONLY answer for all your heartaches, for your broken dreams, for your future and for healing your wounded heart. Jesus is the greatest Counselor, Defender, Deliverer and Physician.
May you never forget to pray for your spouse and all your loved ones. In fact let me remind you to not get mad and then stop praying for your husband or wife. You are falling into the trap of the enemy. There is power in prayer. Only Satan wants you not to pray for others and for all your needs. There are consequences to disobedience. There are consequences to sin. Unless your beloved husband or wife repents and turns from their wicked ways they will find out that there is a Heaven and a Hell. That is why you need to pray daily for your husband or wife and all prodigal spouses and children to repent and turn from their sinful ways asking Jesus to become their Savior and Lord of their lives.
"If anyone does not remain in me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned." John 15:6
Jesus is the only answer to everyone's circumstances which may be severe marriage problems, financial problems, rebellious children, drugs, alcohol or a serious health problem. God sent His Son to pay the price, shedding His Blood on the Cross for all sinners. He came to heal the sick and deliver people from the bondages of sin. May you always remember, regardless of what problem you or someone you know has, "Jesus Is The Only Answer."
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Psalm 107:19-20
